My AA meetings start next week and I'm ready, "Hello, my name is Ronnie and I own a Samsung top load washing machine."Setting the bourbon aside, I've been through this suspension rod nightmare for 2 years with at least 6 sets of rods. Last year I went through 4 sets before I found a set that acutally worked the best, although not nearly like the fatory rods, which are about $300 for OEM, (might as well buy a new machine for that). We fought with them being Ub for 9 months until they finally wore out completely. This year I went through the entire terrifying process again, sheesh.My first home handyman amature tip is, don't use any rod with pink plastic, every single set I tried was horrible! My second tip is, these rods with the white plastic do not have black metal pieces like shown in the picture, so the picuture should be updated. The metal parts are goldish. However, comparing the rods, (and I should have taken pictures but frustration and wanting to git 'r done set in), the springs on these rods are twice as thick as the pink plastic rods. Once I installed these rods I immediately noticed the tub was much studier than with the yucky pink rods. I ran a tub calibration 3 times and then started washing.After about a dozen washing loads of all sizes these rods are still holding up well and seem just as good as OEM factory. Did I mention they're almost half the cost of the pukey pink rods? Yes, much cheaper, and OMG they... WORK!Obviously I'm never buying a Samsung top load washer again, but at the price of these rods I can replace them once a year and still get about 8 years before the cost outweighs getting a new machine. Of course thats if nothing else breaks down, and don't get me started on the spot of grease on the sensor that caused the machine to error before it ever filled with water, just DON'T!

Tried a more expensive set that's said it was compatible but it didn't work at all. So I measured the originals and these matched that measurement. Easy to install, wish I did it sooner. These felt of higher quality than the more expensive set as well. Works great no more banging around and at the price point I'll be ecstatic if these last a year considering originals only lasted 2.

What a difference these make compared to the old ones. I can wash clothes again! These aren't OEM exact match. The originals had some crazy sticky grease on them to help with the dampening. But these work just fine. I've been using a month and a half so far.

I paid almost $50 for another "off brand" set of suspension rods for my Samsung WA50R5200AW/US-3. My washer basket still bounced with the other cheap rods that didn't even have grease on them!THESE rods are perfect and pre-greased. Just slide them in (make sure there's some grease in the top mount points for slight movement) and you're good to go. My basket is now rigid and like brand new. Highly recommend!

Bought these rods to replace the ones in my washing machine, 4th time doing this by the way. They work great but I know they will only last about 2 years and need to be replaced again. I have tried multiple brands and they all last about 2 years before you start getting unbalanced loads again. At this point I am quite certain the issue is with how the machine operates, not the rods themselves. It's just something you learn to live with when you own one of these washing machines. Hopefully the machine breaks for real one of these days and it can get replaced.
