Definitely helps with sighting. Was worried getting original one off would be detrimental to the barrel but that was not the case, it came off easily ( not easy enough to lose your new one) and the new one fits perfectly because there’s a notch on the barrel so you can’t go wrong.

I decided to restore an old pumpmaster 760D I had from my teenage years and found this while hunting for a gasket kit. The original it has was in mint condition, but was just a plastic blade. This sight is far superior and was right on the money without any tweeking of the rear sight.This sight along with the rifled barrel the rifle has makes for a straight shot.The price of this sight was almost exactly half of a new 760, but they no longer come rifled or stainless like the one I have.So if you have a old rifle that has sentimental value then this might be a great part for you.If your rifle is from the last 15 years, then I would maybe suggest just replacing the whole gun.Installation was as simple as popping the old one off with my hand and pressing the new one on. I thought it might fall off, but after a few shots, it seems like it pushed itself on tighter. Was harder then the original to remove when I tested to see if the new one was falling off.

Goes on easy. Maybe a bit too easy... doesn't fit real tight. Can shift it left and right with not too much force. Took off one star for that issue.The sight picture is good. The green dot is very effective.Biggest grip is the price. The shipping charge was stupid high considering they just drop it in an envelope via US Mail... but i paid it just to sample the part. Took off no stars for this issue - just a comment to the seller. Product is good.edit: having played with the 1377 with this sight for a few evenings; it actually does work very well. The sight does fit loose but not so loose that it will shift positions easily. Just not the strongest sight ever encountered. The sight picture is great for fast targeting of cans or pests at close range.

My old Croaman 2240 was missing the site so Im glad I found this one. It went on snug. It had two thin lines of plastic on the inside of the sight to help align it when putting it on the barrel. So far so good and it aligns with the rear sight.
