We recently redecorated our entire downstairs at our home. We wanted something that was more aesthetically pleasing than our old, worn out, giant sectional; so we decided to go back to a traditional couch and oversized chair. At first, we were going to buy a coffee table; but we wanted something to put our feet up on since we were accustomed to having recliners. After spending days visiting furniture stores and hours searching online we came across this POLY & BARK Gio Modern Leather Ottoman Pouf. It was a little more than I initially wanted to spend; but it appeared to be high quality and had the look we wanted....so we ordered it. This was hard for me to order a piece of furniture online because I am one who likes to see it, touch it, and feel it in person. But, we took a chance.I am SO GLAD that we ordered this! It is a beautiful piece of furniture. The leather is very soft, yet seems to be quite durable. The wood finish looks good and has no discoloring or imperfections. We did put some leather conditioner on it and it may have darkened very slightly; but it is still a great looking piece of furniture. The height is perfect to kick your feet up on or to use as a coffee table. We use a large round coffee table/serving tray when we need to serve drinks or snacks for guests.Everybody that visits remarks how beautiful this ottoman/table is. It really was the perfect item to finish the room. It is well worth the asking price and will bring a little class and character to your room....and its very comfortable and useful as well!

First, this is one of the nicest piece of furniture I have purchased in years...the craftsmanship and quality, fit and finish, is well beyond the price.I did find the color to be yellow in tone (the color in the description was not accurate), not cognac, as noted by other reviewers, to point that I had to return the piece to seller as it did not match the living room. However, they were professional and timely in their response, and did cover the return shipping which is greatly appreciated.If you are matching furniture this may be a challenge, but if a stand alone piece I have no doubt you will absolutely love it! I can only imagine this piece becoming even more beautiful with age...

I'd been looking for a replacement for a faux leather ottoman and had just about given up finding one in the size and style I was looking for, and affordable. I'm so happy with this purchase! It looks exactly like the picture, nice leather and will be great as a footstool/coffee table in my den.Unfortunately ours came without instructions for attaching the legs, and we couldn't figure it out without them. I contacted Poly & Bark, spoke with a real human (!) and they quickly sent me the instructions.We will see how it wears over time, but so far so good!!!

I've been an Amazon customer since the "buying books" beginning. I think this is the most expensive item I've ever purchased. And it is an absolute fantastic ottoman. It is extremely sturdy, probably 4 average sized adult butts can sit on it at the same time. It's mostly used as an ottoman with an L shaped sofa. Sometimes for our feet, often with a huge circular metal tray atop to make it a coffee table. It looks exactly as pictures. Maybe even prettier. Was very easy to assemble.

Our room is very small so we couldn't fit a larger ottoman, but this one is perfect. Nicely sized, it would do well with most furniture. Afraid it was going to be too big for the space, but the round shape looks fantastic. We had a metal and glass coffee table before, but everyone just put their feet on it and complained that it was uncomfortable. This is sturdy, and wears well. Best of all it is comfortable. There is a 3 year old jumping on it, spilling things and sitting on the edge daily. Our dog seems to love using it as a spring board to get to the floor from the sofa. It is not scratching easily so that is yet another plus. Highly recommend.
