This is a very good steamer that works very well.It starts steaming quickly and cooks great. Now the negatives really minor. Some reviews I have seen state this steamer leaks water I have found providing you don’t overfill it does not leak for me.It really needs a clear mark on the timer dial as it is very hard to see,and 30 mins timer might be a issue for some.Otherwise a great steamer.

Worst designed steamer EVER ! Seriously Read the one stars
Having used many Tefal and Morphy veg steamers for years, this one looked similar .Oh how wrong can you be , where to start .The steam water tray only holds 30 min max of water before the top tray overflows and the element starts to burn. The three vegetable trays have a rim around the inside making it difficult to remove cooked veg. The holes are too big so peas and sweetcorn fall through. But worse yet it has a known flaw were it leaks down the front covering your worktops with water .Yes the trays are all fitted properly, it just doesn't sit tight enough to seal.If I could leave ZERO stars I would , this is without a doubt the poorest designed kitchen appliance i have ever had or used ( i loved my little daewoo car , so I liked the brand) . Makes items on Wish seem like quality !

Decent branded food steamer, what isn't there to like.....
Hi there..!Decent brand9 litre capacity1200wthree years warranty......What is there to not like, well very little so far it seems.Having had this steamer and used it for a while now I am glad to note that overall we are pleased with our purchase. It did seem a little small, in terms of water capacity that it holds, but we have used it with all three bowls attached for around 25mins at a time and it hasn't ran dry yet.The bowls interlock reasonably well, although they do feel a little loose when stacked. BUT no steam escapes nor water dripped, so all is good. The lid has two holes for vents on one side, perfect to direct the escaping steam to where we want it, in our case towards our extraction fan.The capacity of the steamer, at 9 litres, seems more than adequate, we use the rice dish to cook fish, having lined it first with foil. The build quality is adequate, but nothing exceptional. Equally nothing that has overly concerned us.It is easy enough to rinse and wash after use, no real hidden crevices etc for food to get stuck. We did make sure that we registered the steamer with Daewoo on their website to take advantage of their three years warranty. The only reasons that this is not a five start review is due to the fact that whilst it has an orange light on when cooking it would have been very useful to have an audible bell or buzzer that would sound when it ends. Instead it just switched off when the timer has counted down. There is also no keep warm function. The final point is that it is most difficult to see the pointer on the mechanic timer. The pointer is black on a black dial (see photo). I have painted over ours with a touch of white paint, to be able to see it.Do I recommend it......? Yes, with the caveats about the bell at the end of cooking and not keep warm function, and the difficulty reading the timer dial. Nothing is particularly bad about it and the three years warranty and speed of the 1200w of heating the water is really good.Overall a decent buy.I do hope that this review has helped you.
