Bonded nylon is the way to go when doing sew in weaves, the nylon doesn’t strip the moisture from the hair like cotton thread. I love that there’s a variety of colors to choose from.

This color is a bit peachy but surprisingly, matches the top stitching perfectly on my jeans. Held up well and did not separate which is great.Top stitching tip for this heavy type thread that I learned… use heavy stitch on top and regular size thread in your bobbin and sewing will go much more smoothly. There were areas on my jeans where I used this thread too and bottom and it did just fine - I just went a little slower.

I bought this strong thread that is almost unbreakable to use with a vintage industrial Consew machine. It works perfectly on cotton, canvas, and leather.
