Great quality and be sure to overlap at a half inch
The media could not be loaded. This mural makes it so that I can have an ocean view at my desk every day living in the Midwest. There wasn’t a video to show an install anywhere so I thought I’d make one. It’s my first one. I hope you enjoy it.

I thought I ordered a different woodland scene!
Regardless, I like the image that I received and, in fact, did order by mistake. (It is the forest scene that, going by reviews, it seems everyone buys.) Thankfully, my husband likes the image, too. I bought it as a surprise and it was a good one. The mural is really rather arresting as you walk through the front hallway!Anyway, I put up the SIGNFORD wall mural in maybe an hour the afternoon that it arrived. I read the directions and immediately decided that I was not going to cut off the 'excess' once the picture was on my wall. I snipped off everything at the bottom while it was spread across the floor and then got to work.Having wiped down the wall a couple of days prior, as I bought a size that would not cover the wall completely, I marked off ten inches from the ceiling at somewhat regular intervals and then connected the marks with a penciled line. That was how I kept the top of the mural straight. I eschewed the recommendation of a dry towel for my sweatshirt sleeve (to smooth out the bubbles in the panels) and, although at one point one of the panels stuck to itself quite horribly, and I was certain that I had just blown $85, thankfully everything worked out. The panel was pulled apart without ripping and, despite having fuzz and stuff on its rear side by then, has stayed put on the wall.It has been a few days and the mural really looks quite beautiful, even with minor imperfections with "overlap" that probably only I can see. Although it is worth noting that the "inkjet printer smell" lingers.

I had great results - Why 4 Stars?Let’s start with application and then I’ll state why 4 stars. 1) Don’t attempt to do it by yourself. Having someone help will save your project. Mine stuck together bad but with help, I got it unstuck. 2) Lay the image out on the floor. I recommend you match them up - there is a needed overlap. Mark each panel showing you where it will overlap. Use a level and draw a line on the wall where you want to start. 3) have your partner peel about 6” of backing down the back. Hold the material tight but not too tight where it will stretch. Apply the panel starting at the line you drew and have your partner begin to peel the backing as you smooth it on the wall. Next panel, peel down about 6” and match it to the mark you made on the first panel where you determined the overlap would begin as well as your top line. Repeat for the number of panels. Now, why 4 stars? The panels do not line up from panel to panel exactly. You will match in some areas but not all. You may not be able to see it in the pics and a guest may not notice but, I can tell. Zoom in on the skulls teeth, right side of mouth and some of the waves…. Also, it looks like their is doubled print in a few areas.Would I buy it again or others from this seller? Certainly, the panels do look great.

I'm in love. Hung it myself.
I'm a big fan of this wallpaper and the quality. The wallpaper was actually thicker and more forgiving than I expected. It covered my textured walls really well. It's really durable and no problem to reposition over and over. The first roll was the hardest for me to apply because it has to align on two sides. But after that the other sheets went on easily. Even lining then up was easy- there's a 1 inch overlap as you can see in the close-up red A photo I added here. You can see all the overlaps on the wall- that's the worst part of the product. If you choose a darker pattern I suspect you wouldn't see the overlaps. But I don't mind it. This pattern was very forgiving. I don't believe the 1 inch overlap is considered for the width measurement because I did run out right at my door. This was 6 panels so that would be -6 inches. The G is cut out because of my door and I just used part of the wallpaper that would have been below the G to fill in on the narrow space next to the door. The hardest part of the project was the light switch, vent and face plates. If you can take them off it will be more precise to wrap them. I didn't take them off and suffered through using my scraps (I had a lot of leftover) to cover them. I get a lot of compliments and questions on my video meetings!

Great product and a few things to know
First of all let me say this is a great product and as you can see looks fantastic on the wall. The vinyl is sturdy and has a bit of stringy fiber to it. It was easy to cut to size. Our wall is 8x10 feet so we picked the bigger size knowing we would have to cut it. We used 5 out of 6 panels and cut the bottom off to fit. This is the first time we’ve tried installing a mural (or any wall paper ourselves. I wish we could have had some tips about the process, like we didn’t realize it would not stick well to our softly pimple surface wall with satin finish paint. We had to sand the wall a bit to roughen the paint and reduce the pimples. We then wet wiped the wall to remove the sanding dust. It did stick after that, but needed two of us to support the weight of the panel until it was over half stuck on or it would pull itself off. Since vinyl stretches you have to be careful not to pull on it while lining up the pattern or you get air bubbles and wrinkles. All that said, it took about 3 1/2 hours to install. We used painters tape to hold the top in place while getting the panels started and left it on while the adhesive set overnight. It is indeed removable and was easy to peel back and readjust as we learned how to do it. I love the results!
