I had to admit I was worried due to some bad reviews; however, I was absolutely pleasantly surprised after my husband easily installed these window bars.We have an under two grandson who is extraordinarily curious. He is a climber and scares the hell out of us… these bars were a no brainer. While they are an investment, they were totally worth the expense.The bars fit snugly across my windows. They are bright white, look decent enough (for bars that is) but most of all, I feel so much more at ease with them in place. I’m still able to open and close my windows with the bars in place so I’m thrilled with that. Second floor apartments get super hot if you don’t have AC and being able to keep my windows wide open - yet safely - is amazing.We tested the bars by pulling at them with our own body weight - they do not budge! They’re easily removable to wash windows as needed though.I’m happy with them 🤗 they have totally put my mind at ease!

I needed this railing to pass a home inspection for sliding door safety. It installs easily without drilling into the existing framing on the house. Great purchase.

At first, I was skeptical that these would not slip out of the window sill, but I couldn’t be happier with these. It’s way better than trying to use a baby gate in the window lol everyone wanted me to just do that but I’m so happy with these windows now. I was i’m having so much anxiety worried that my daughter would somehow accidentally push out the glass and fall out the window of our top level apartment. Now, I am confident that even if somehow the glass did break, there’s no way in heck she be able to fall out given the sturdy tension of the window guards. They look good, clean white. Very easy to install. You can’t go wrong with this investment.

I bought this window gate because of my toddler and it really helped. It’s easy to install and doesn’t require drilling holes in the wall. The only problem is, it’s short in length so you will have to buy several of them to join together before it can fit a large window but very good.

I bought this to keep my small dog safe and it fits will into a 28" window and remains very sturdy. This can withstand pressing on it firmly and will remain in place (as long as its tightened enough). Will be buying more!

Bought this because I have an old house with low windows and we needed a safety gate to make sure our baby does not fall out of his bedroom on the second floor. Knew that using a tension gate would be less safe than a permanently installed one, but we will not be here long and needed a barrier that would do a good enough job. The tension bolt that you tighten is made out of SUPER CHEAP and VERY flexible plastic. One of them split as it was being tightened to create enough tension to make the gate an actual safety gate. A second began to warp out of shape as I was using the wrench to tighten it.I should have used my gut instincts and knew that this would be some cheap terrible item when I read who and where it is manufactured. I guess I got my money's worth.

We purchased this gate to provide some protection for our large picture window in the living room. Our sweet 30# puppy thinks she should protect all of us from the package delivery trucks that frequently use our street. She throws herself at the window and barks ferociously...and thank goodness this very sturdy, strong, and well-made adjustible gate keeps her from hurting herself AND our windows.
