Areca Palm in 4 inch grower's Pot Sold by California Tropicals

Received my little guys via mail - packed with such care and consideration for both them and me as a paying customer. Their overall health is extremely good - strong color (shows they have been properly fertilized during early stages), the soil was damp and covered with a special shredded paper and wrap (thank you for that), and was stored in what looked like NASA padding to ensure low to now breakage or damage. I was really impressed with this as I was incredibly skeptical with all of the complaints. Frankly, I think people just want to complain wrongly. I feel so good about this purchase that I am considering more.

I’ve had the plant for almost 1 year. It’s healthy and it’s grown a ton. If I repotted it sooner it would probably be even bigger.

I don't leave a lot of reviews but I had to get on here and say that I was so impressed with the condition this plant was in when it arrived. It took awhile to get here but it was extremely well packed and the soil was still damp and the leaves all green and not damaged at all. Now I am just praying my cat will leave it alone!

Came packaged extremely well. It was in transit longer than expected and I was worried it was going to arrive too far gone and has happened often for me buying plants online, however, this plant came very well packed and green. It wasn't huge but it was bigger/fuller than expected for a 4 inch pot. Over this product was great and I would purchase again! I only gave it 4 stars and not five because shipping took quite awhile.

Sent a plant which had mold on it…mold got increased day by day…i had to throw the plant after trying many things to recover it and there was also no response from the seller. Waste of money, i will not recommend costa farms

I love it.It was very well packaged, and despite usps shipping delay it still arrived green and very healthy.Other sellers plants arrived half dead from a couple extra days of shipping delay.But seems this seller knows how to properly package plant to prevent that from happening. 👍Certainly recommended for anyone who wants a small oxygen producing interior plant.

Had it for awhile now. It was small. Finally transferred it to a bigger pot and it's grow nicely. Worth it.

I love my little areca palm. I have it under a grow light in the kitchen. It’s doing surprisingly well in a large plastic pot filled with potting soil and a layer of clean white pebbles at the bottom of the pot. I rinsed the white pebbles before putting them in the pot. And I bought while pebbles with a natural finish,... NO WAX. The pot has drainage holes. And I gave it my own bottled drinking water to drink, because I hate fluoridated water, and I read that the areca palm hates it, too. Maybe I’ll put it outdoors next spring, or maybe I’ll get it set up indoors in a sunny window.
