Great evolution for die-hard Forza and racing fans
I've owned every Forza game that's been released and can say they keep getting better. Forza 6 adds many more tracks and weather, not to mention a wide variety of cars and the latest models. The night and rain races are fantastic; cars will hydroplane and react instantly, just as in real life. Some high points:- Drivatars have drastically been improved and aren't nearly as idiotic as before. In F6, you're able to turn up or down their aggression, something that is useful.- The menu system is a little different than F5, however nothing that you won't get used to.- I can't speak much for multiplayer, but my limited experience has been positive. If someone near you collides with a wall or crashes, they become a ghost and you're able to pass through them safely.- Starts of races aren't nearly as clusters as in F5- Tires react to track conditions and are stickier, much like real lifeThe best improvement Forza 6 brings is the addition of better music. The orchestral music from F5 was horrendous, not something anyone wanted to hear during intense moments in racing. While the new music is similar, it seems to have more of an upbeat house/trance melody. My only complaints are that collisions all seem to make the exact same crunch sound no matter where the damage is, and it takes a substantially harder impact to damage car components, even when set to "Simulation." It's much less sensitive than Forza 5.Bottom line: if you own an Xbox One and like racing games, this is the game for you. If you were happy with Forza 5, this game will still bring a smile to your face. Rainy tracks are exciting and challenging.

Great Game
MS 5 was first one I tried and while not an expert on the series, can say I really like this version better. Upgraded to the Thrustmaster TX wheel and that in itself changes everything. Awesome game with that wheel. And I have the wheel stand. This and Project Cars are my go-to racing games, along with F1 2015. Project Cars is a whole other thing with it's depth of options and diversity of tracks. I love the simplicity of MS 6 in terms of set-up for the wheel, and general game play, especially the force feedback. When I want to just jump into a game quickly, I pull this one out. When I want to spend more time fine tuning the force feedback for each car, Project Cars. I also like to use the rewind to learn and perfect, which is missing from Project Cars.Interesting contrast in how I play compared to Project Cars. With MS6, I drive much better when I use the front bumper view. Whereas with Project Cars I do just as well with the in car and in helmet (which is amazing) views, as with the front bumper. Must be something with the game..course then again could just be that I need to spend more time in the in car view. Great game. Get it if you are wavering.

Excellent Racing Simulation
I use this game with the Thrustmaster TX racing wheel and pedals. The flow of the game through career mode is great. You can still manually configure cars very specifically in your garage, and tune/adjust the car as well prior to a race which is great. The selection of road courses is good as well. The many variations of artificial intelligence in opposing drivers is the best in the series so far, and the various difficulty/training aids you can toggle prior to each race is superb. The integration with the steering wheel is also very good. The only negative I have found is it has become clear why races aren't held in the rain. This game has racing in the rain, and where water pools on the track, the track is unusable in turns. Probably accurate with reality, but since races are cancelled in the "real world" during rain, with a simulation racing series and trying to be true to reality, why force us to race in the rain when its not reality? You can adjust and turn it down a notch, adjust your racing line, and still do well, but it isn't true to realistic racing. The different special events and unique races are all great as well. Well worth the money with this game, and no in game purchases required.
