GVS Elipse SPR484 Elipse P100 Mask Multigas, S/M

✅ I chose this model because it has a premium grade filter that protects against mold and certain gases ⚠️➡️ Probably due to the heavy-duty filter, it adds forward weight that may fatigue some peoples neck or back after hours of wearing. The head strap has a helpful head brace which helps with comfort. I feel it’s worth it to have the extra level of protection against molds and certain gasses. Many filters don’t protect against mold. Remember to properly match your job hazards with the proper level of filtration needed. Safety first!

I really wanted to like this respirator! I had bought a 3M respirator that was extremely uncomfortable (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B008MCUS28) so I needed a replacement. This mask was definitely more comfortable than the 3M mask above. BUT, the problem is that the design means if you need to look down for your work it will block too much of your view.I need a respirator for making my handmade jewelry - I am looking down at what I am soldering, sanding, etc. This cut off too much of my view. If you are going to be looking straight out, that won't be a problem so this respirator will work for you.Comfort-wise, the mask has a soft fit that is comfortable and molds well to your face for a good seal. I like the way the straps work on this mask better than the 3M strap design.There is a small amount of room above the nose fit so that you can actually wear glasses with this mask. Definitely a must for me, as I need safety glasses (and magnifiers) for my work.I'm bummed that this mask isn't going to work for me. It has so many other positive aspects. I don't know why they say it doesn't block your vision when it so clearly does. That is one plus of the design of the 3M mask which puts the filters way at the side and winging back so they do not block your view.Hope this helps.c~

This was my first attempt to use a new HVLP sprayer and this was my first serious filter mask. I was s skeptical about the size (thinking it would be too small) but we used the measuring advice and even though I don’t wear a sm/med anything, it fit well and I never felt like I was breathing any fumes. It was a bit hot, but I’m guessing that’s typical. I think this was a good purchase.

Used twice. Piece snapped. Also sadly I thought this was a Bearwoods product. Unfortunately I was mistaken.
