A Practical Guide to Botulinum Toxin Procedures (Cosmetic Procedures) 1st Edition

This book by Dr. Smalls is very informative, illustrative, and a great educational tool to learn the different types of Botox injection sites and anatomy of the face. Great book for beginners and those willing to learn about aesthetics.

As a physician and Medspa owner I find this book quite useful. In contrast to my other review of Dr. Small's book on Dermal fillers, this book is a great resource for even the absolute beginner. Very comprehensive and easy to understand. Full of information, almost too much. I will say again though that one must be comfortable with injecting. In other words, it would be difficult to start from scratch with just this book. But for those with a basic knowledge and skill level this book I would say is quite useful. A great reference to keep in the injecting suite, or perhaps in the waiting room.

This book is SO worth it if you are a practitioner looking to learn the basics of botox. I paid almost $2000 to take a class on botox and I have learned WAY more from this book than I have learned from the class I took. I would highly, highly recommend saving your money on any classes you are thinking of taking and purchasing this book. The book includes both upper and lower face botox as well as the "lip flip" which my class did not cover. Very useful and 100% worth the money!

I am a new injector and found this book very helpful. I definitely will recommend it. I will try others by the same author.

The scratch key to access online material was missing

I am a PA-C working in aesthetics performing injectable procedures and teach these techniques nationally. I use the books in Dr. Rebecca Small's series to teach frequently and I recommend them to my students. The readability is appropriate for the new injector but still great for someone to review even if they have been injecting for years. Thanks for the great resources Dr. Small!
