Parts 15823207 Power Brake Booster Vacuum Check Valve Kit with Check Valves and Grommet

The grommet fits. The valve doesn't. Hose side of valve is way too big for my 78 chevy c20. Lucky I only needed the grommet.

When the mechanic replaced the brake booster is came with a smaller hose connector then the original. They compensated for the reduction by tightening the clamp. This is the right one and it works perfectly for my 2006 GMC Sierra.

I was looking for the same hose end size as the vacuum port on the back of a stock truck intake. This was the exact size and fit my brake booster perfect.

This part fixed my vaccum sound and brake issues.I was hearing a vacuum noise when turning off the vehicle. I would also hear the same noise when loading the engine (while going down the highway), letting off the gas for a second or two then putting a load on the engine again. if i ever had the hit the brakes hard while a load on the engine, the brake pedal would be rock hard until after about a second or two. this part fixed that problem.To test if your valve is bad, remove it from the vehicle and try to blow air through it both ways. you should only be able to blow air through it from one direction. i spent more time cleaning than the actual installation. installation is a breeze and takes less than a minute.Installed on a 2008 Silverado but would fit other fullsize GM models.

The ABS light kept coming on in my 2014 Acadia. While parked if you pull the hose from the check valve and don't hear a whoosh of air then the check valve is bad. Well I didn't hear the woosh so I replaced it. Works great!
