TLDR: Excellent keyboard for the price, mouse is decent and functions well as a basic mouse but hey you get what you pay for and it’s not terrible.Keyboard:Feel & Function - has blue switches, slightly longer travel than you’d expect, slightly harder than you’d expect. But tactical feedback is great! Round keys feel good on the fingertips. I use it mainly for work haven’t gamed on it even though I’ve had it for a while. May update review with gameplay experience later. For work though, it feels really good. I type a lot and the keyboard feels amazing. Comes with braided cables that are long enough for how I use it but aren’t all that long.Looks - The silver parts look cheap and plasticky, feel cheap and plasticky but not to an extent that it’s a bother but please be aware of this before you buy it. But the pastel pink looks great! Slightly faded and lighter than I’d prefer but still great! Lighting modes are nearly infinite!!!Mouse:Looks - cheap and gimmicky. Wouldn’t buy it if didn’t match the keyboard. Besides the keyboard tho it looks nice. The colors are okay and the breathing pattern is fine. I haven’t found a way to change the breathing pattern or colors it does it’s own thing but isn’t too bright at all so doesn’t bother me.Feel & Function - does the job, feels clicky but not too much. The side circular wheel thingy does nothing is just for show. Even though I’ve not been a huge fan I’ve had no motivation to change it though so that’s saying something.

I purchased the Basaltech Mechanical Gaming Keyboard and Mouse Combo because I was drawn to its vintage typewriter-inspired design and the fact that it comes in pink, which is my favorite color. I was not disappointed!The keyboard has a satisfying click when you type, just like a typewriter, which I love. It can be a bit loud, but that's part of the charm for me. The mouse is also comfortable to use and has a sleek design.One of my favorite features of the keyboard is that it has different lighting modes, which adds a bit of fun to my setup. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase of the Basaltech Mechanical Gaming Keyboard and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish and unique keyboard and mouse set.

I've been wanting a type writer type keyboard for a while and finally bit the bullet. It's pricy, but I think it's worth it (note that I got this when it was on sale for about $50). It's really cute and the keys make a satisfying clicky noise. Sounds like an actual typewriter. This might bother some people, but I love it. I like that there are a lot of light up options for the keyboard. Although the mouse only has one setting. It cycles through a bunch of different colors. The keys are plastic, but sturdy feeling and the base is a solid feeling metal. Does not feel cheap. I like that the cord is woven since they're usually more durable. This is also one of the few typewriter keyboards on amazon that is not Bluetooth. I don't like the idea of charging my keyboard since I use it so often.I should mention that I received the wrong color the first time (the sent me a blue one), but I was able to easily return it and got the pink version I ordered with no fuss.Also since there's not really any instructions, for reference if you want to switch between volume control and keyboard light settings just hold down the knob in the corner until the light under it switches on for light settings or off for volume control. If you are in light settings just click the knob to cycle through all the options.

I’ve been using a Logitech G11 keyboard & G500’s series mouse for the last 7+ years for everything from daily browsing, programming, online gaming, and macro mapping. Unfortunately, Logitech doesn’t offer their product in various kawaii pastel colors (understandably since the market for high end gaming gear is primarily male, and making a product exclusively marketed for women would lower sales)Which is where this keyboard & mouse combo come in from Basaltech. Nowadays there’s a decent selection for keyboards & mice sets that are astatically pleasing. However, finding one that is also functional is a challenge. So in a minute I’ll try to provide my best comparison between the two.Summary:If your looking for a fully programable keyboard / mouse for gaming look elsewhere. This set won’t allow you re-map your keys let alone pull off perfect macro “super” jumps every time with timed crouch grenades / etc in FPS games (I’d recommend a macro enabled keypad with an attached joystick for this). If, however you are more concerned with ascetics & want a great keyboard for day to day use. This is probably the keyboard / mouse for you. It should more than meet your needs to generic online flash games, or default key mapping settings. I’ll be using my set for daily browsing / generic use & switching to my keypad / mouse combo for gaming (Logitech is a great option). My G11 will solely be for programming & heavy data processing requiring multiple macros.
