Almost....
Design is either flawed or just too rudimentary in functionality to be of practical use. Doored drawer can only be lifted out of the box by the doors to its compartments. If heavy objects are contained therein, lifting the drawer out by its compartment doors will result in weakened, failing hinges over time. Powdered ink requires EXTENSIVE mixing - outside of the glass bottle - else it literally separates from the water and floats atop the surface like scale. Glass bottle leaks at the brass fitting so it is as worthless as the blackened water inside. If they tried really, really hard, they could make this ink and bottle just a little more worthless than it already is. Wood stain smells nice and industrial, like musk incense that has burned for too long in an enclosed room. Wax sticks are as hard as rock candy. Not a problem if you like the kind of rigid seals that have to be snapped in order to break them to access contents. Nib and handle as archaic as one would expect from a vintage "antique" item at this price point. Had they gone with the antique "look" but incorporated a tad bit more quality and functionality, this would have served as a nice, practical, and useful item for modern day use. Thus, in its current state, it is an Almost good product. But it looks nice from the outside so there's that. Two to three stars. MAX!

Not great quality. Rusty Ink bottle cover.
The wax was broken into small fragments and the portion of box under the cover had to be forced open. Construction and product quality has some major flaws. The cover of the ink bottle is rusty, as well. It was supposed to have been a gift.

Not super great quality
The magnets that hold the interior compartments closed do not work. We now have to find something to fix it or return it. We like the look of the box, but it’s not the best quality.
