I don’t know. I bought it for the toslink optical which didn’t work

It is supposed to output digital optical but mine didn’t work

Q: It says "a toslink to 3.5mm connector _was_ included in package" What does that mean? Does this have the 3.5mm-to-toslink connector you would need?

The mini stereo jack and the optical connection are the same shape and combined in a single output. The wording is confusing. Previous Mac computers have this output, but not lately.
