These were recommended by so many ultra fancy chocolatiers I just had to give them a try. All I can say is WOW! They are ultra yummy on their own, but in a chocolate chip cookie? THE BEST chocolate chip cookies I’ve EVER made!These guys aren’t your toll house chips from Nestle. They are about 3-4 times larger so I take a bunch, wrap them loosely in wax paper or parchment and chop them up with my meat tenderizer mallet (try a rolling pin too) until they are chip size or larger. You’ll want chunks for these as when they melt they get that ooey gooey goody chocolatey yummo! To REALLY bring out the flavor of these treats? Sprinkle a little sea salt on top of the cookies right after they come outta the oven.Are they pricey? Yup! We are talking about some very rich, buttery, sourced chocolate here. But trust me…once you try them in your cookies? Toll house morsels just won’t cut it anymore! A VERY special treat!!Personally I paired these with Valrhona’s 70% dark chocolate fevres. Did 30% of the 70% dark and 70% of the 55% semisweet. Drooolllll!

I had to wait a couple weeks for it to arrive and when it did it was old and stale. It went straight in the trash

One of the best quality baking chocolates in easy to melt discs. Shipped in resealable bag, which is great or storage. Quantities are great for the home baker as the discs are normally only available in commercial sizes. Highly recommend, these will change your baking.

I have used Valrhona chocolate for years...it is always excellent. Melts easily and is intensely chocolate.
