Here is why this is the ideal item for wheelchair individual
If you are like many of us, when a family member becomes wheelchair bound or has someone with severe mobile obstacles, we have to learn what is available, what works, and what doesn’t work. We end up wasting money that we don’t have to find another item. This is an item that WORKS and am considering buying another. My family member is now in a wheelchair (paralysis from knees down). It is necessary for him to use a transfer board to move from bed, to chair, to potty, etc.The pros for us are:a) this item can be adjusted and lifted to be the exact height as the bed,b) only has one side arm which allows him to slide without any height differential.c) there is a back with this chair which helps him feel more stable.d) THE BIGGEST pro is the size of the toilet waste opening diameter (!!). Other similar products have a smaller diameter which makes it difficult for the user to not have a mess (more clean up time).I was able to assemble in less than 10 minutes and tools are not required. The only thing improvement consideration would be the removable pan; I wish it were a little larger and more snug (not a deal breaker).

Very sturdy
This is a nice bench for anyone under 200 lbs. We use for shower only, in a large walk-in shower. Padding is nice for taking a long shower without the bottom becoming sore. Suction cup feet prevent slippage and the cut out seat allows thorough cleaning of the privates.

Use chucks underneath
I was able to get it quickly, and it helped me transfer when I was recovering from a broken ankle. But, the pot is too far down and I needed floor protection underneath this.

2 years and works great!
I've had this chair for over two years now and have no complaints. I'm a paraplegic who weighs 175 lbs and get on and off it with ease. It's pretty sturdy, wobbles a little but has held up. It is finally getting some wear and tear and some rust on the screws. At this price I'll order again. Though it was only $98 two years ago, inflation....

High quality product.
This was easy to assemble, and seat and bench can be installed to either side. Arms are removable for easy transfer from bed to commode. Very sturdy, have used for 3 months next to bed, and 3 months in bathtub. Makes transfer from wheelchair to bench for showering. Can’t say enough good about this product.

Sturdy and easy transfers!
This bedside commode that doubles as a shower chair is amazing! Very sturdy design. My mother recently broke her ankles and this helped make transfers from the bed so easy as it can adjust to your bed height and then you can just slide on it.

Poor Bucket Removal System Design
The main issue here is that the metal sliding system that is under the chair and holds the bucket up. To begin, the small metal thing that is flimsy and could easily pop out is the only thing keeping that bucket afloat. The bucket gets a bit difficult to remove and there is a great chance that when you push it out (there is some resistance from the metal, prob to keep it from easily sliding out) but it could also cause an issue for older people that they would basically pull too hard and the bucket will come out, as well as the contents. The lid is too complicated to slide back on and there is no sufficient cover for that. Its a great seat and a great cushion but it is too overly complicated and I would not trust the bucket insertion and removal system (drop system) because it is not sturdy and it is not reliable.

Comfortable Bedside Toilet/Shower Bench Combo
The comfort was exceptional with extra thick padding on seating surface and side area.I found the structure holding the bucket in place to be very unstable and wire hooks to hold bucket were unreliable at times. This increases the risk for spills.
