Purchased this after scouring youtube for watch reviews. I have never owned an automatic watch, and wanted to dip my toes into the wide sea of offerings out there. After more deliberation than a sub $200 purchase probably deserved, I ordered the mako 2. When it arrived I was shocked by how beautiful it was, and a bit suprised that it wasnt as large as I imagined it. I have historically worn a large G-Shock watch, so I am used to big clunky blocks on my wrist.The bracelet was easy to adjust down to fit perfectly. I did have to remove 1 link and then use the 4 micro adjustments to get it right where I wanted it. But now its perfect.Sadly, this has only led me to want more watches, so while I would like to wear this watch to my grave, I am now sure I will be purchasing more, and Orient is at the top of the list. For the money it is hard to beat.

Firstly, i would like to say the watch itself is really beautiful and affordable. The blue looks great but i originally ordered the black one. I do not know why a blue one came in. The box that it came in also does not close well.

It's a replacement for the same model that got damaged when he accidentally hit something. It was too expensive to repair.

It’s a very nice watch, it could be used everyday or as a dress watch.Feels more expensive than what it is.

This watch is stunning, however it does not keep the day and date correctly I had to change it everyday, as you can see I set the day/ date Thursday the 9th and today is Saturday the 11th and it’s still on same date, I don’t mind setting the time on an automatic watch but when you have to set the day and date also it gets pretty annoying, I bought the pagani design which you can see in the photos, I haven’t worn or touched this watched In about 2 weeks and it still has the correct date on it, the orient can’t seem to keep the day and date after it stops, many reviews said this watch is made in Japan but mine didn’t say made in Japan so I prob got some cheap china made model, although it does say Japan movement, I think I will just get the seiko Skx instead, too bad cause the watch is beautiful, and yes I will be returning the watch today, if it’s not a big deal to you to set the time, day and date every time your Gina wear this piece than go for it, but I wore it for 2 days straight when I got it and the next morning it had stopped, so it doesn’t have much reserve time, good luck if you decide to get it, and hopefully I just got one of the bad ones, cause all reviews on this watch were good, hence why I got it..

The finish is excellent. Easy to size and looks great. Over the last month I have bought 8 watches, including San Martin, Addisdives, and even a titianium Undone, by far the Orent outshines them all. Japanese quality, craftsmanship, and value found in this watch.
