Very good pack, exactly what I needed.
I was frankly surprised by how well made this backpack is. I haven't needed a new backpack for ages (Decades), so that might clue you in to how well made my last one was. I honestly didn't think I could replace it, and at first glance I thought this one wasn't going to do it, but I was soooo wrong. It's built well, looks good, has FAR more room than it looks like it does, and if you have a battery pack, the USB port on the side is VERY convenient. The small insulated drink pocket worked was better than I thought it would. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Worth it
My son needed a new backpack. We bought a less expensive one that he wanted and it broke in the first week. I got him this one and it it doing great a year in. Still looks like new and has plenty of space for his use.

Doesn’t suck!
Have had this bag for 6 years. Has been great. Daily laptop carry or Europe travel carry on. Holds more than it seems.

A must have long lasting backpack
I was looking for a backpack fromquite a long time. This is practical and convenient backpack with the extra storage underneath and dedicated pouch for 13-15 inch laptop. Usb extension to secure your powerbank inside and charge your devices. Durable , zip quality is good, I feel backpack is bit heavy , Feels comfortable when wearing on both shoulders

Almost perfect bag...
The bag is almost perfect for me. I really wanted a bag w/ two external bottle holders so I could keep both coffee and water available while I am at conferences, but trying to find one that I liked and had double become painful. The only other sacrifice I made was I really didn't want the TSA security flap. It has been a while since I have been able to leave my electronics in my bag, even w/ the bag laying flat so this feature is pointless for me. After the using the bag for the past month, This feature is a total pain and annoying at best due to how easy the zippers work. If you have a laptop/device in the sleeve and unzip the zippers enough to open the top, the back will just unzip and "drop" your laptop back. And if you store anything loose back there, IE paper work, small devices, etc, those will spill out. Not the end of the world, but totally avoidable since this feature really isn't needed any more. And much like finding one w/ double bottle holders, Finding a decent bag w/o TSA flap was painful.Outside of those issues, The bag is still very roomy and I can put a ton of stuff into it. I will say I am a little disappointed with the number of pockets/organizers. Though that could be rectified by just getting some additional gear organizers, which since I use it for multiple activities could be a bonus so I can load it out based easier based on activities. The quality of the bag seems to be solid and seems like it should be durable.I have yet to go on any long trips/conventions/conferences with the bag so I can't speak to how comfortable it is for extended periods of time. But for bouncing between places it has been great.

Great Bag
Great durable bag. The side pocket where you can stuff shoes in across the bottom is a wonderful addition.

Very efficient bag to work out of, one potentially major flaw.
Been using this bag several weeks now and have been pleased. The layout engineering is top notch, you can access your laptop, mouse, & charger within seconds & there is plenty of room for a packed lunch, light change of clothers, and lots of books. That said, this is a commuter bag, don't expect to do any rucking or outdoorsy stuff at this price point. The materials and zippers are sturdy but not built for abuse. It won't fall apart on you but would definitely not hold up if repeatedly exposed to the elements. One livable flaw which I have seen other posters comment on; the zippers for the main laptop compartment can and WILL give way if not positioned properly, allowing the whole bag to flip open and potentially spill whatever is in the tablet pocket. The laptop itself is ok when this happens since it stays upright on your back while the rest of the bag clamshells backwards in an awkward/embarrassing position (and always at the WORST time). The key is to never position both zippers at 12 o'clock and instead leave both of them at one of the corners, then you will not have this problem. It would be nice if there was a warning for this but it can be easily avoided through conscientiousness and a minor change of habit. All said this bag is sturdy and hard to beat for for weekend or business travel. The blackout version is also fairly discrete and does not scream to everyone "EXPENSIVE LAPTOP INSIDE!!!!" Highly recommend.
