Makita WR100DZ 12V Max Li-ion CXT Ratchet Wrench - Batteries and Charger Not Included [Energy Class A]

I use this at work to access awkward areas and general maintenance, I bought 2 batteries and a charger separately. Up to now I have not used the second battery as the first has not gone flat after 3 months use.Very good value for money, great quality and powerful enough to do what I need.

I finally took the plunge and bought my first electric ratchet after seeing lots of people using them and viewing lots of YouTube on the subject.Firstly, I only went for this one as I have Makita 18v tools and stupidly thought the batteries were the same. Soon found out that they weren’t when it arrived.I decided to just get some aftermarket batteries for it (great buy!) and I’m really happy with it.The first thing I noticed is that it’s fast, faster than any other I’ve seen and on par with some impact drivers. When I used it for the first time I also found it does have decent torque although it’s not primarily designed to crack bolts. I do have to be careful when running up anything smaller then M10 as it will over torque it.It’s relatively light and ergonomic to use however doesn’t feel as robust as the Milwaukee. I’ve got 2ah batteries for it and they have lasted ages before needing a charge.If you’re looking for a new electric ratchet I would sum it up as follows:This ratchet: fast, light and less strain to use, a bit long.Milwaukee: robust, heavy, expensiveSealey: great value for money, not as fast or robust but decent enough torque.

Love this tool, makes removing bolts and nuts easy. Typical Makita quality tool.

Haven't used this tool yet, but the build quality and the feel of it is good. Will write a report when I use the tool.

This has sped up work ten fold, for someone that fits and removes jigs day in day out this cuts time so much!

Head keeps breaking, had it replaced 3 times in a year under warranty, obviously 4th time was out of warranty so been quoted £100 to fix. Joke.

Not very strong . The reverse switch is very weak and. Sometimes it doesn’t stay in the position you want had the ratchet about 6 months and it became pretty useless . I got in touch with customer service at Amazon and they went out of there way to help me to the trouble of sending me a brand new replacement. Let’s just hope it was a one off . Just to let you know it also comes with a 3 year warranty. But trying to register it was not the easiest thing

ratchet assembly was rubbish. had to be renewed with a modified assemblyMakita knew about this
