Very Nice!
Brown ink is so nice for drawings instead of black.

A new Art Product - A New Skill - New Fun
I am reawakening my drawing and sketching skills and had been reading a lot about brush pens. When this Faber-Castell brush pen was brought to my attention, I decided to make the modest investment and give it a try. Good decision! It is early days to say how I will incorporate this pen in my drawing and lettering plans, but I'm enjoying the creative journey and building my skills. The pen is light weight and very fluid/smooth when sketching. The india ink doesn't bleed through my basic sketchbook pages (a real plus). While it is very pleasant to use, it also requires practice to get a better feel and control over transitioning between fine and bold lines, and lettering. It really does feel like writing with a paint brush -- very smooth and flowing. I'm enjoying this new drawing experience.A great start!

My second favorite for brush hand lettering
Just lowered this from a 5 to a 4 because of the Fudensoke Tombow pen which is my favorite right now. I just started teaching myself brush hand lettering about a month ago and this is in my top 5 favorite pens to practice with. I have wasted money on a few that ended up in the trash. I have the Tombow dual brush pens which I like quite a bit but I find this brush tip to be a bit more firm so I can create thin and thick strokes with one sweep of the pen.

Faber Castell Pitt artists pens are terrific - I use gem mostly for black backgrounds on my coloring pages. 5 stars!
I love Faber Castell Pitt artis Pens – I always get the small brush pen for the little details in there great for backgrounds on my coloring pages - On most good paper they will not bleed through - they are India Ink - the small brush pen is great for details around the edges of illustrations (although I’m sure you could do an entire page with the small one but I preferred to use a larger one for that) but I use both!b I also have many of the small ones in different sizes for different projects and I just adore them. They can also be bought open stock and in packages like I bought these black ones I have very many and I just love replacing them on their own good Amazon sales I stick up with them.
