I have been taken this for years and I would recommend this to anyone that I cared about. For people who think it's going to work as soon as you take it not so. . It's an herb not a prescribed upper or any mood altering drug. It works the best if taken on an empty stomach. The body will absorb more of it than if you took this with food however it's not a bad thing if you do eat with it.Now for anyone concerned about the date on the bottle. This is NOT an expiration date. The date indicates when this product was bottled. So don't think that you are getting an old product.There is actual reasearch about rosavin and how it affects the body. I can say it does help me with my moods and energy levels but again keep in mind that it is not a drug that hits you right away. It should be taken regularly for a while. You should be able to notice the affects. When I I noticed them was when someone asked me about how much coffee I was consuming. It was then I realized I wasn't drinking as much as I normally had been.I've read the lower starred reviews and I laugh and get frustrated at the same time with the way the described this product. It's not a miracle drug. This isn't a replacement for anything either. Always ask your doctor before quitting any medication. If you are taking this and other steps in life to make improvements about yourself then it will definitely help along your journey. I'm a man who knows about anxiety and other conditions and the struggle with them. I can say that it does work for me. Please keep in mind that something isn't always for everyone. That's ok too. I have tried every single brand of rhodiola rosea out there and I find this one is the most effective and most standardized. I have read a book on Rhodiola rosea as well and this was one of the recommended products that they have done successful clinical studies with. Don't get me wrong, the other products work as well, but not as efficiently as this. If you want to get the best, go with this product. I also suggested this product to several of my friends and we all find that it eliminates anxiety. I have a panic disorder and ever since I started using this, it has disappeared. I know it sounds too good to be true, but it really does work just like that. For me it even works better than all the antidepressants that I have taken for anxiety. It also helps me with memory, I noticed I had an easier time remembering things for my exam on days I took it verses days I did not. I also like ordering from this company as sometimes they give me free products.

In that book chapter after chapter tell of wonderful healing benefits this adaptagen herb can help. Its not a miracle drug so its slower acting. However, I noticed right away more clarity, more follow-through on projects and remembering lots more. This has continued for me. I have recommended the product to many of my friends--this particular brand, which is recommended in the book. (The authors say the precise way it is farmed and formula used is important.) About 19 of my friends are now using this product with almost no downsides. Not everyone feels as significant a change as I have but all realize it helps with stress, memory, immune system, athletic recovery, fatigue, anxiety, sexual vitality and much more. Rhodiola grows in the high Siberian mountains. The Soviets kept the research secret for years yet used it for their athletes, scientists and astronauts. If you read the book, you will probably say, like I did--why isn't everyone taking this?

Heard about this product in an Alzheimer's video summit. My husband, one of my sons and I are taking it twice daily.I can definitely see an increase in my energy and mental clarity. It also helps with my son's anxiety. I am reordering this and wish it could be a subscribe and save item. These were recommended by my doc and when he recommends a specific brand it's for a reason. These are definitely more expensive but with supplements you get what you pay for and these are worth the extra cost.

My psychiatrist recommended I try this rather than Adderall for concentration and energy. I take it as directed (two capsules in the morning 30 minutes before food) and I've seen an increase in my energy, motivation and ability to stay on task. Highly recommend giving it a try!
