My favorite juicer, and worth every penny!
Love this juicer. I waited a few weeks before writing this because I wanted to get past my "first impressions" and see if I still loved using it and if I found any flaws by using it more than the first time. I watched several videos of this juicer in use and the one guy I've seen more than the others always preached putting in soft fruit or leafy greens followed by something hard like a carrot. He even uses a carrot to plunge the leafy greens and soft fruits into the chute and lets it chew the end of the carrot off each time. I have followed this routine and it works perfectly. I was most impressed to see this thing grab and pull an entire stalk of celery down the chute and devour it! That means much less time in prep and more time in juicing. Of course you still have to cut down the apples and oranges, pineapple and beets into slim enough pieces to fit in the tube, but I absolutely love being able to wad up a leaf of kale and stuff it down the tube, stem and all and watch it pull it in.I keep the output cap adjusted to the middle setting and the pulp comes out pretty dry and the juice is great. Even with the pile of greens, (kale, spinach, celery and more) the juice doesn't have hardly any foam on the top when I finish. The juice is full and has a little of the pulp in it, which I like. The yield from the amount of veggies and fruit is amazing, easily the best I've seen from any of the four juicers I've tried. We also have a Champion, but it isn't made to juice greens and does a horrible job of it if you insist on trying, and I ended up with as much foam as juice and had to unclog at least 6 times in one juicing session. That meant taking it apart and cleaning all the pulp out, and brushing the screen, and reassembly only to go a few minutes and do it again. The other two juicers I've used were both vertical masticating juicers and both of them broke pretty quickly, one of them on the first use, and for both of them and the Champion you had to slice up things that had stems like kale, and of course celery had to be chopped up into 1/4" pieces. So you can tell that the prep time with the Omega is going to be much less.Clean up is quicker with the Omega than any of the other three I've used, and I am not making this up. Maybe the holes in the Omega screen are a tiny bit larger, I don't know why, but it only takes a few swipes with the brush provided and it rinses clean.I was fortunate enough to be able to get my money back from the other two vertical juicers so really all that was wasted was my time. I tried to cheap out on buying a juicer and hoped to get lucky. No luck. But with the Omega I am very pleased with how it compares to all the others I've used and I feel like it is absolutely worth what I paid, especially knowing what I went through with vertical juicers that cost $100 less than this one. And the Champion, which cost quite a bit more. This one is a keeper! (My wife hasn't used the Champion since we got the Omega, and she seems to love it just as much as I do)Just remember that this is not a fast process, so make it a relaxing time, slow down and enjoy how well it works, follow your soft pieces with your carrot plunger or whatever, soft, hard, repeat... and I think you will be quite pleased with it. I will try and update my review as time goes on.

Fabulous!!!
Oh my I don't know where to begin! I am so glad I read reviews all over the internet and here on Amazon and chose to purchase this Omega juicer. This is the third brand of juicer I have used, from a very cheap one, to an expensive one and now this one. I totally made the correct decision with this purchase. Of course it makes great juice - that goes without saying. But it is sturdy, well built, and well designed. At this point I have made fantastic orange juice and delicious vegie juices. Using some of the attachments that come with it, I made a delicious frozen fruit sorbet for us for dessert. It does greens wonderfully. I have not found anything that this machine balks at. As you use it you discover a little trick here, a little tweak there to come up with juices that you like. And clean up is a breeze! I just finished making our vegie juice for the day with tomatoes, beets, carrots, celery, etc. etc. And what makes this amazing is that I'm wearing a white top. There is not one splash of juice on it -- at all!!!! It takes me longer to make the juice then it does to clean up the machine and the kitchen. THIS is a perfect machine! I can think of nothing I would do differently. And coming from me, that's saying something - I can usually find a little something I'd change, but not with this. If you want a juicer, this is the one to buy!!Omega Juicers J8007S 5th Generation Nutrition Center HD Juicer, Silver/Black

Great Juicer (updated)
This is a fantastic juicer. I won't go into all the details about slow vs high speed juicers (you can search the Internet to read all about it), but a slow juicer gives you a much higher quality juice. If you are looking for a slow juicer, then I would highly recommend this one (or the previous generation 8006).Pros:- Fast cleanup. I can clean the juicer in about 3-4 minutes- Very high quality, good tasting juice- No issues juicing leafy greens, hard veggies, or hard fruits (only okay at soft fruits)- Small footprintCons:- You need to cut the produce into smaller pieces to fit down the food tube- It's slower than a high speed juicer (obviously)- Some pulp in the juice, although this is easily fixed with a fine mesh strainer- For some reason, the parts on this juicer are very snug (especially the end cap). More so than the 8006 model I used. I may consider contacting Omega about that.Again, if you are looking for a slow juicer, the Omega single vertical auger, slow juicers are fantastic.*** Updated 5/1/2014 ***I contacted Omega about the very tight fit on the end cap (great customer service), and they shipped out a new end cap and juicing screen. Turns out the juicing screen was the defective part, because the new screen fits perfectly. If anyone else has this issue, I recommend contacting Omega. Also, I changed my rating to 5 stars: great juicer and a great company.

Get the Omega Vertical Juicer!
I bought this juicer and used it every day for two weeks. It works GREAT as long as you are feeding very hard veg through, alternating with the soft. For instance, piece of cuke, piece of carrot. It is easy to put together, not too hard to clean. It is heavy-duty and I imagine it would last for years and years. BUT when I was away from home, and had these ingredients, it was a disaster. Spinach, apple, cuke, lemon, celery. There weren't any carrots or beets, which I always included before. What happened was the juice would build up in the feed tube and go NOWHERE. The pulp stopped feeding and it was a drippy mess. I sent it back. God the VSJ843. Amazingly happy with that juicer. It's worth the extra money, and less chopping.
