I must say, I owned two sundown nightshade V6 and I wanted something for my daily use and I must say this tiny sub is a beast, I don't know why people are giving a bad review about it, you build the right box for it and you would get everything out of this AB XFL 1022, and I would definitely recommend this to people who doesn't want to spend too much on audio

Perfect 10 inch subwoofer XFL1022
Awesome sub hits hard and clean, loud from 31-45hz, moves a ton of air for a 10. Paired with a skar RP1200 @ 1 ohm. Enclosure is 1.5 cubes tuned to 33hz with 18 square inches of port area. Coming from a sundown 15 this sub is really impressive, plenty loud and isnt drowned out by my mids and highs. Setup is in a 2014 4Runner consisting of stock head unit, pioneer dsp, Skar RP 1200.1, sundown SFB 200.4 6 JBL GTO 6.5 component sets, big 3, optima yellow top, stock alternator.

The item itself was perfect but the wrong one a second time. I ordered the 2 ohm dvc sub but for the second time they sent a 4 ohm dvc sub.

Great price for a good Sub
A lot of sub for the money. They did cut corners and if this sub was say 200 bucks this would be a 3 star review, and i probably would have been upset since I purchased 8 of these for my build. I am not a fan of direct connect leads, and it also bothers me that the magnets are not aligned. At first I thought it was the rubber boot, but after taking it off, it became clear why the boot didn't fit quite right on all 8 of speakers. Although it doesn't seem to affect the woofer at all, it messes with the touch of ocd in me. Other than the one gripe about the magnets everything else on these speakers is impressive. The basket is nice, the motor is a good size, and the coil looks fairly beefy. 1000 rms should be no problem, and the sound quality on these is good. I would recommend these. Fairly priced for what you get.

Nice.
I have a Memphis pr1000.1 running one 10" xfl. In a cheap ported box. And Its clean sounding with Country, Rock, Rap, bass tests, just about everything I've played. I replaced 2 kicker L5 12"s with this one 10". It just has a better range to it. It's not as loud but if I had another amp and xfl 10" it would be louder than the kicker L5 12s. Years ago I had four 10" kicker comps and, this one sub can Compete with those. I'm happy..
