I bought these so we could make my favorite holiday candy which is Cherry mash candy. They were a little pricey but for my favorite candy it was worth it.

I had been coveting these cherry chips for over a year. Finally, I broke down and made the purchase. I haven't tasted a cherry chip since I was a young girl (circa 1885). I've enjoyed boxed cherry chip cakes, but it just isn't the same as homemade cherry chip cookies or cherry mash bars. What I can share about these chips...The description states "Slightly smaller than regular chocolate chips". They're not just slightly smaller; they're mini chips. If you've ever used mini chocolate chips, mini butterscotch chips, or mini mint chips you'll know what to expect.They don't taste as wonderful as I remembered. That's alright and I'm not surprised. They taste perfectly fine.The deal is you get two 10 ounce bags. These bags are on the smaller size. You'll likely need both for one recipe.I wish cherry chips were still in our local grocery stores. Also, I wish Doritos had more powdery cheese flavor. Junk food was significantly better in the 80s. Am I right or am I right?

Meh, these taste waxy and artificial. Tried to use them to make candy, but they just did not taste good to my family.

I was not able to find these chips in grocery stores. I was so pleased to find them on Amazon. I made Bing Bars and they were really good.
