It's great for the price.
This mirror is pretty good for the price. It's a simple piece of plastic with a reflective backing. I feel way better with plastic vs glass in the shower.I've been using it for awhile now and it looks as good as new. I've seen there are some people that have had issues with the mirror backing eroding from the edges however I have not had any of those issues. That can be anything from bad production unit or minerals in your water. You do have to heat both sides under hot water for a second. Just long enough to heat up the mirror. I mean, it works for the most part. It still gets a little foggy here and there but like I said it's good for the priceThe string that is attached is suuuuuper long but it's not an issue for me. I just trimmed it up and it works perfect. So my advice on this mirror is to give it a shot.

Large and clear
This mirror is three times the size of my old shave mirror. Once it gets a little wet, wipe it with your hand and it stays frog free. Its size makes it easy to hold to get under your chin or trim around your beard. Excellent quality and works perfectly as it should.

Great Mirror! I like it!
It gets the job done! You will have to run it under warm water a few times during your shower time/shaving time, but its not a big deal, if you hold it in your hand, while you're shaving or if the distance to the faucet is short. The cord that it hangs from is long and easily adjustible. It needs to be cleaned with vinegar. I keep vinegar in a small spray bottle in the shower. No other cleaner will work. The hooks that come with the mirror are more than strong enough to support the plastic mirror. They are not high quality; they're made of aluminum. The backing will eventually rub off. This is not a mirror that you can expect to look nice for years to come. You might get one or two years use of it, before the cosmetic appearance begans to fade. You can limit damage to the backing of the mirror by adding rubber flat bumpers to each corner. The backing comes off, due to the lack of protection of the back covering.Overall, its a good mirror for a low cost. I have two of them. One for home use, and one for traveling. This is NOT the type of mirror that you can run under hot water once, then place it on the wall and shave. You will have to place it under water periodically throughout your use.

Mirror does eventually fog up.
I had back surgery and needed to start shaving in the shower on a stool. I though this mirror looked like a decent value.A few things... first, it is pretty small. You need to be quite close to it to have a meaningful reflection. That is certainly revealed ahead of time for anyone who took the time to read the measurements ;)Second, you need to run the hot shower water over it for a few minutes each time you want to use it in order to get it not to fog up. That wasn't super obvious to me before buying it.Third, the mirror does eventually fog up. I have been told that I take exceptionally long showers and I'm probably guilty as charged. That being said, it is only the duration of a shave that matters here. I run it under the shower head for a few minutes to warm it up, then put it back on the hook (which incidentally does stick very well to the glass shower door). I lather up my face and start shaving. About halfway in, I'd say 3-4 minutes, the mirror starts to fog.At that point it becomes a war against the mirror. I wipe it with my hand and then shave a few strokes, then wipe it again, etc., until I'm done.It gets the job done, but I think saying that it eliminates fogging entirely is a bit disingenuous. I didn't return it, but that is only because my back is healing and I can go back to shaving at the sink now.

Shower Mirror ReflectXL--Strong Paracord, Nice Reflection, I Approve!
When I was a child, my mom used to have a mirror similar to this one hung up in the shower for us to use.I never really knew how important it was to have a reflective mirror in the shower with you, but it truly is.There are just some things you have to do but you can't without a mirror. Some things you'd rather just get done in the shower but since you lack a proper mirror, you usually have to wait until you're done to get that routine started.Mirror on a rope has an amazing fog proof mirror here--ReflectXL.The mirror quality is really good.I have had similar mirrors before, and the quality of the reflection is, by far, extremely amazing. You can see all sorts of details, even some I never seen before with my naked eye. lmfaoThere is a protective film that you need to take off before you use.otherwise your reflection will look hazy.Just take your fingernail or a butter knife and it will come right off.Another thing about this mirror, it's strung with a strong paracord.Though I can't talk much about the mirror's strength if dropped or if the mirror will break at all but one thing I do know is that Paracord is hard to snap. Damn near impossible to break. So as long as you have it hoisted on a strong nail, the clip it comes included with or around the shower head (as I plan to have it!), your mirror will be fine. You also have to run it under hot water before you commence your shower. The "anti-fog" of this mirror requires you do this for best results. So a thing to remember! The paracord has a little black "Stopper" on it that you can adjust and extend or reduce the length of the overall cord with.I do have some things to discuss about this mirror in terms of the amazon listing:The image on display is not correct, the image that they sell this product with claims that the hole is in the center. It's not. It's actually on the side corner. So, that is for clarification.Another thing, it claims that the little adhesive bit for the hook that is included comes completely off when pulled down while mounting. That is not true, I literally had to just toss the whole thing because the whole adhesive bit just ripped right off.I decided to hang the mirror on the shower head, or I can always hold it or mount it on the curtain rod.All in all, a great shower mirror to check yourself with.5/5-The following rating comes from:1 star- Packaging. (Is the item packaged well?)1 star- Quality & Materials. (Is the item made well?)1 star- Functions & Usability. (Does the item work well?)1 star- Construction & Design. (Does the item look good?)1 star- Quality Strength & Weight. (Does the item feel good?)-How I review:Based on those 5 mentions above, I take everything into consideration before posting a final review. Also, I use mere common sense when it comes to rating. Is the product worth this amount of stars? Is it not? What would I improve? Is the negative I dislike, if any at all, something that is an error in construction & design or is it something the company couldn't possibly control? And, if all else fails, can I do something to alternate or change the ability of this negative? All this and more is considered before I post.I do a lot of shopping on Amazon, so I decided to take the liberty to post reviews on items I think deserve it.Because I want people who are genuinely interested to know more about the product before they commit. These are my own opinions, I am doing this review merely for the sake of reviewing and expressing my freedom to review.Thank you!
