Exactly what I needed. It has the 3 plug polarized american that I use to plug in a surge protector 4 plug from Monster when I am traveling. I love that the "face" is perfectly flat, the american plug fits flush and bites.

Item NOT as PICTURED......! The adapter I received was NOT the one shown in the photo, which accepted ONLY North American style 3 pin grounded plugs. The one I received was one of those units which accepted not only the north American type of plugs, but also UK and or Aussie plugs. Since this was not what I wanted, I returned mine. As for the product, the quality was fine and the material was of the hard type of plastic. So if that works for you, this should be a fine selection. Look at the photos of other plugs to see what to expect for units accepting multiple plug types.

This adaptor is very unpredictable. It was completely pathetic in Israel, mediocre in Germany and better in Italy, but never 100%. Whatever you plug into the adapter fits tightly when you insert it, but there seems to be something wrong with the pressure applied on the prongs that pushes it out again at random times. In Israel you could not even complete short tasks like blow drying or ironing, let alone charge a cell phone.

It works as it should. By the nature of the product which has no "wow" factor, it is just a plug, it works, and is reasonably priced!

This worked great. Seemed like a good quality and I don’t think it got hot after use. Used for 3 weeks

Used this adaptor through a long stay in Germany and Spain and worked great. As it inserts nicely into the Schuko sockets it is stable with the american plug inserted and not wobbly and unstable as with some other adaptors.
