Very Good Wash and Style Brush
I had a bunch of questions before I bought the brush, ended up buying it to answer them. How hard is this brush? This brush is definitely a hard brush, some reviews highlight that it is a medium brush - it is not! I have 4c hair and I haven't had a cut in about 3 weeks, and using this brush to form my wolf was a challenge at first because I didn't expect the brush to be as hard due to those reviews. Can this brush get wet? What happens if it does? The quality of this brush is very good! I used to use a Red Kiss Military hand brush (the black one that was discontinued) to do my wash and styles and in comparison, this brush is much better - and a little cheaper. Even after the bristles get wet, they do not deform and lose their stiffness like my old brush use to. I like how the bristles are hard but evenly spaced because it allows my waves to train better when I am washing them. What is the quality of this brush? The overall quality is definitely a 9/10. I would say so from the experience of buying hair store brushes to Torino pros, this is a perfect balance of utility and style. I've had this brush for a short while, but I have been waving for over 5 years now and I can definitely tell this is a quality product. It has minimal shedding as well and the bristles being spread out really give it the ability to touch every strand of hair.Overall a very quality, affordable, and durable product! Would highly recommend.@thespincoach on IG

Great product
The brush is of great quality. The bristles aren’t too thick and not too soft. It’s just right for thick texture hair and curls.

Definitely Hard
It's definitely a hard brush. My husband uses it to treat scalp conditions and he loves it. We've tried a few other brands but this one has a wide surface and secure grip, suits him better. But be aware, the percentage of boar hair is low.

Made my Sister HAPPY!
She is a white woman with solid white afro hair, keeps it short. Due to her 76 year old hands, she can no longer embroidery, or get a brush through her hair. NOW SHE CAN WITH THIS BRUSH. The descriptor words, Men, Barbers, Thick to Coarse, Hard, Sturdy, Firm are what sold me and she fully agrees, this is exactly what she needed to care for her hair. She said the handle is really nice, fits her hand, is comfortable to use, and not a strain. No longer will she dread her am workout on her hair but instead is looking forward to the improvement of it's condition she says she knows is coming, healthy and shiny once again. (She made me cry when we were teens by forcing me to iron out her beautiful curls) Happy we are AND it arrived one day early. So Thankful.

Really good stiff bristled brush
Really stiff bristles. Exactly what I was looking for. And, inexpensive..

Now that's what I'm talking about . This is what you want for adult dandruff / cradle cap!
Cradle cap on adults.. Well this works. For those of us who want to harshly scrub our scalps (ya know to clear out the dead skin or soap residue) THIS IS THE ANSWER. I have purchased way too many "stiff" brushes only to be disappointed with the results ... NOT SO with this . This is very stiff to the point of being a little painful .. I'm not a masochist but this is just what I was looking for

Adequate, but not special
I bought this brush to have on hand in my office, after using a boar bristle brush at home for the last year or so. Because I wasn't going to be using it as often I went with a less expensive brush like this one, and I can tell the difference. I have been using the Ambassador olive wood hair brush (costs about 5x more), and it feels and works much better. I have short, straight hair, and even so, this Diane brush does not brush the hair into place without more effort and more attempts. I think the hairs are not as thick, or there aren't as many (I've never laid them side by side because one is in the office and one is at home). It still gets the job done, however, I am much more pleased with the Ambassador brush, both in terms of its utility and the way it feels in the hand. This is a good inexpensive brush in its own right based on price, but against at least one competitor, it does not measure up.

***Good Hair Brush***
I use it as a hair brush and it works just fine. Not a fan of the soft types. I would recommend this and do.
