Great Product - too much fabric for Yoga
We live in an industrial loft with 13-foot concrete ceilings. After a lot of looking around on Amazon, I settled on this set because it included 10 yards of pretty, pretty light-to-dark blue gradient fabric with daisy chains, but without mounting hardware. As our ceilings are concrete, I wanted to make sure to use mounting hardware I trusted, not just some no-brand fasteners that came with the set. We got a pair of swingset mounts from Amazon for $20 and bought Redhead concrete wedge anchors from Lowes to attach the mounts to our ceiling using holes we made with a hammer drill. Everyone should be sure to get hardware they're confident in, and should probably get a professional to install it. We didn't hire a professional, but that's a risk we chose to take.We tried a single-point mount to start, rigging a yoga hammock on the included rescue 8 and swivel mount. But I found that it was way too hard to follow the yoga exercises on a single-point mount with a swivel--the set up kept twisting and spinning at inopportune times--so we installed the second swing mount for a double-point yoga hammock set-up, and that's been much easier for a beginner like me.A word on aerial yoga--it is addictive. The first time I did an inversion, my back popped like twisting bubble-wrap, and it's been feeling great ever since. Even though I've only been at this a couple of weeks, I get a little antsy if I don't get my daily "upside down time." It just really helps relieve the stress and inertia of this quarantine-era everything-from-home world we're in right now. Plus, it's playful and interesting enough to keep my attention. Perfecting the poses feels like fun, not work, which makes it so much easier to do every day. I also like to hang out in the hammock with a good book. It's very comfortable and relaxing.Another observation, 10 yards of fabric may be great for aerial silks, but it turned out to be waaaaaaay too much fabric for a yoga hammock for me. I'm almost 6 feet tall, and it turned out that, with the included daisy chains, 5 yards was just right for me. So, I cut the fabric swathe in half, ordered a second set of carabiners, and made two 5-yard yoga hammocks. This actually turned out to be good because one thing none of the other reviews on this page tells you is that this fabric picks up Body Odor like nobody's business. One sweaty workout, and it needs a wash. Fortunately, it's easy to launder--standard warm water wash and medium heated dry. Now that I have two yoga hammocks, I hang one and wash one (after I've untied the knots and removed the carabiners). We each have to figure out the yoga hammock setup that works best for us, but I'm very pleased with this product because it gives me LOTS of different options. When I get stronger, I might setup the swivel and the rescue-8 again and try some aerial silks moves. However, that said, I do think I might also like a yoga trapeze. There have been several times when I was doing a difficult pose with these silks that I thought a handle or two would come in handy.Ok. That's everything I can think of to say about this aerial silks set. I hope my experience was helpful. The accompanying photo is my legs and ceiling during my first inversion. :)

Great value
I was unsure about purchasing silks online, but I'm happy with them so far. I've used them a few times in aerial hammock class. They are a little stretchier than my other ones, so I had to rig them much higher than I normally would. The more i've used them the more they've settled to a stretch that I was hoping for. the color is gorgeous. I've very happy with the purchase.

If you’re looking for LOW stretch…
Look no further! I read mixed reviews saying it was bouncy/stretchy/etc. I ordered this via Prime and the silks I got have little to no stretch, unlike my previous silks. These are easy to grip, and the colors are beautiful. The photo looked more vibrant, but I saw photos of them in the reviews and they turned out to be exactly the pastel colors I was looking for.All the included hardware is heavy duty and 23 kN is the lowest rating on any of the pieces (up to 2,300 kg or 5,060 lbs), so I feel very comfortable using it.I’ll update if anything changes, but I’m very happy I spent a little more and went with this vendor, as the other listing I saw with the same color silks had many reviews saying it was medium to high stretch. If you’re looking for low stretch, this is it!

Great silk!
This is an excellent silk with not much stretch h- good if you aren't doing a lot of drops. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the ombre blue color had no white in it like the picture showed. It transitioned from one blue to another blue instead of transitioning from dark blue to light blue to white, still beautiful but just not the color I was expecting. Product came quickly no missing pieces.

High quality silk we added to our collection.
Vibrant bright pink (no purple undertones). I’ve ordered from this company multiple times for our aerial gym. It comes with a quality swivel, figure 8, two carabiners, and daisy chains. These do not have much stretch, if any, making them versatile for silk or hammock. If you are new to buying silks, get 11 yards for 20’ ceiling. If using a pulley system or lower ceiling, you can go with 9 yards for hammocks. Go with 11yards for silks so you have enough length to wrap with for drops. Hope that helps you!

Low stretch and vibrant colors
I’ve been working on silks for a couple of years and was looking for something to practice on at home. These silks are not only beautiful, they are low stretch and not too thick. Love them!
