No sensitive skin issues, even after sun; and doesn't dry out skin
I have sensitive skin with dermatitis, especially in spots where I've had several peels to remove a scar. A pure mineral sunscreen like Aveeno is best for my sensitive skin before AND after the sun, although it gives me a slight white cast. I also use Oil of Olay Complete for Sensitive Skin. The Olay has no white cast, and it doesn't give my skin a reaction at first. But once the sun hits the Oil of Olay, the octinoxate reacts and gives me swelling/dermatitis in the places where I have sensitive skin. So generally, I prefer the Aveeno if I go in the sun without a hat. But Olay if I wear a baseball cap over the parts of my face with damaged sensitive skin. I also used another mineral sunscreen from Bare Republic. I caught my reflection in the mirror afterwards and it was just awful - white, pasty, dry, and creating wrinkles where I didn't know I had any. So lots of mineral sunscreens artificially paste and cake up your skin, wrinkling it up. Aveeno doesn't do that. It is a very good sunscreen

Such a lovely texture
I love love love this face sunscreen. I've tried so many and this is by FAR my favorite. The texture is so nice a light, not oily AT ALL, but doesn't make my face feel dry even with super low humidity. I have medium caucasian skin and when blended in to my skin well, there is a very slight lightness to it that I can see but I've asked friends and they say they don't see it. It feels so great to not have to be putting chemical sunscreens on my skin in such a wonderful formula! Love this stuff!

Very good
I have very sensitive skin, usually I can not tolerate sunscreen (only minerals like this one) but this is really gentle on the skin, the only con is a little bit of eye burn sensation but it is just for a couple of minutes and then it's gone

Makes my makeup pile
It's a pretty good product---just not for my face. When I put it on my face, it's thick and leaves a slight white cast which isn't the problem. After waiting the perfunctory 15 minutes for it to be absorbed, my face is still very greasy and shiny. I actually have to blot my face with a paper towel before I apply makeup. Not only that, but not even after an hour, the sunscreen or the makeup or a mix of those two starts to pile and roll off my face. It ruins my makeup. I think it's because of the silicone in the product. My primer also has silicone in it and maybe even the makeup I use (havent checked) so that might be the issue. It works great on my arms and legs though! It just wasn't the sunscreen for my face.

Really awful spf!
This stuff is awful! Even if you can ignore the fact that it comes in a ziploc baggie, the actual formula is terrible! I would steer clear if you have any skin tone but white (and even then you might want to stay away).Seriously, I'm okay with a slight cast (i even prefer a bit of one, as if helps cancel out any redness), but there's no getting around the chalky white skin tone this stuff will give you (it's the worst I've encountered and i've tried A LOT of mineral spfs). I ordered it based on reviews from people claiming that you just have to apply it right to avoid the cast it causes, but this simply isn't true! There's no secret to rubbing it in or applying it. It WILL give you an obvious white cast and I'm sorry: if don't see this obvious white cast, it means you haven't applied enough of it or have rubbed it all off.Beyond the awful cast it will give you, IMO this stuff isn't suitable for oily skin. It's too moisturizing and causes too much shine. After trying a bunch of other spfs, I ended up settling on Biore's "aqua rich watery gel" spf 50+. It's SO MUCH BETTER than this one. It isn't a mineral spf though (I don't care, as it contains the newer gen spf chemicals that are supposedly more stable).

This stuff is great for me !
I really like this product. It goes on smooth and easy. It blends really well. It has a nice neutral scent and texture. It’s not oily at all and mine is not gritty at all either. I wonder if it could be a different formulation than some of the others have received? Also, mine has no white cast Zero. I do have pretty light fair skin though. But honestly, I applied it right in front of the mirror and it was completely invisible. I do use it pretty sparingly though, so I’m not putting a thick coat of it on. About a penny size amount to start and then another penny size amount to complete the coverage and that’s all. I love this product so far but will update my review if I notice any drying out of my skin

Best stuff!
This is the best physical sunscreen I have found (and I have tried a lot) It’s just as good as Clarins but way cheaper. Doesn’t streak or leave a white cast like CereVe (which is not the streakiest, but this is still better). It’s so cheap I bought more and leave one in my car, one in my make up bag, and one by the sink. Love!

good for the melanin folks
This is the best mineral-based sunscreen I've ever used (previously used Neutrogena Invisible Zinc, La Roche Posey Anthelios Mineral )Pros: It's not thick and greasy. It leaves a soft matte finish on my skin. 2. It doesn't leave a highly visible white/ghost cast on my skin tone (mid olive).Cons: The consistency is rather thin (milk) so I would recommend two coats (just to be on the safe side). It does feel like it "builds up," but with more than 2 coats it can get to look like regular mineral-based sunscreen= slight ghostly film. One of the reasons I usually forgo wearing sunscreen is because I have bad reactions to chemical sunscreens once outdoors, and mineral sunscreens leave me either super greasy (with very unappealing beads of sweat on my nose and over my lip area)-- or, an even more confounding, greasy AND ashy.I hope this product does not get discontinued because I've found my holy grail sunscreen.
