Packaging of the product is shipped in is terrible. They throw it in a cardboard box with no insert or foam. Charge me a little more money and ship it correctly. My came with one of the welds broken and the handle bolts missing. The company did compensate me, and I bought the bolts for the handle. And then an oversized bolt to reattach where the weld broke. The unit runs great, if you let it warm up on idle for a few minutes. I did a pool, gravel walk, and my pickleball court. It is light enough to maneuver easily. And the vibration moves it forward with ease. Overall, a great buy, and I am satisfied with the purchase. Fix the way you package it, as this is the biggest complaint on the reviews. Heavy items should be foam packed and hard cardboard inserts on all corner sides.

We purchased the Xtremepower for less than $500 when to rent one was going to cost us over $1000 for a month. We got the one with wheels for maneuverability but wish the wheels were bigger. We opted for that over the water tank. If you need water, just take your garden hose and sprayer and wet the dirt. Best investment made.

Very disappointed compactor came quicker than expected but lots of engine oil inside plastic bag and all over compactor. Engine according to manual was supposed to have been drained of oil before shipping. It must not have been. When I added oil as instructed it was full with very little oil added. When started it barely ran and spewing lots of blue smoke (burning engine oil) out exhaust and then died. I spent 34 years repairing cars and 8 years teaching about them. Wasn’t hard to diagnose. Pulled spark plug and cleaned it. Started and ran ok for minute or so the more blue exhaust smoke and died. Pulled and cleaned plug again started and ran then died again. Finally determined air cleaner was excessively full of oil probably from being shipped with engine full of oil and not shipped standing up. Pulled air cleaner filter and cleaned oil and spark plug ran and again blue exhaust smoke and quit again. Found would run without the air filter. Tried cleaning again even though it looks clean and blew out with air. Still only runs without the air filter in place. Called the phone number on instruction manual for ExtremePower US and they have NO technical support and directed me to call the Amazon seller I bought it from. Turns out they are the Amazon seller with a different name “Ihubdeals” with the exact same contact info on amazon and same phone number so I called back. They were pretty unwilling to help the first time I called not knowing they were the Amazon seller and slightly more willing when I confronted them that they were the Amazon seller. Still no technical support but at least they would help me with parts and are sending a new air filter but sounds like will be a couple weeks and I need it for a big project in the next few days. I don’t have time to go searching for a mini air filter especially not knowing it will fix problem. It’s odd the filter looks clean but maybe the excess oil damaged the element. After looking at air filters for over 34 years I could be wrong...ARGH... AND NO OTHER WAY TO SAY IT.... ExtremePowerUS CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWFUL at best. Probably going to return it. :(

Are use it for tamping paver base and pavers and it worked fine and its compact size is easier to maneuver and lighter weight to load and unload

This unit is built like a TANK! Works just like advertised and seller was great to work with getting some repair parts that were damaged by the FEDEX delivery washing machine! Using unit to instal paver stones with poly sand. Thecentrifugal clutch works great. The Steel shoe hits hard! Thanks!

spent more money for this because it is listed as bi-directional. It is not bi-directional as claimed. Handle attached poorly with weak cotter key, had to jury rig with parts from Lowes to keep it from falling off.
