I was so impressed with the look, feel, and overall quality of the chain that I bought another one this year to hang a Challenge Coin upon for myself.When it arrived, I realized that I should have ordered a slightly longer chain.So, my wife said she'll be glad to have it, and I'll order another one in the longer length, in a few days from now.So happy first experience led to this second experience, and is the basis for another experience in the near future.The color and fit are perfect.I suggest measuring the length of chain you want so ordering will be more precise.

Not gold at all. It looks cheap, it makes your neck dirty green after you’re sweating.

I bought this to send to my daughter and I'm sure she'll be very pleased with it. My only concern is that the necklace is quite stiff and really not quite what I was expecting. I did however receive a note from the retailer saying to loosen it up by warming it in my hands which I will try. Apart from this the necklace is very beautiful.

I worked out for 25 years and rewarded myself with a gold chain with a hand holding a dumbbell pendent. It lasted for quite awhile and then the chain began to disintegrate, to the point it was unbearable to wear. After ten operations in the last 24 months, I am back in the gym and wanted to wear my pendant. I was a little skeptical of this chain because of the price, but, i gave it a shot. This chain looks great, is sturdy, and I honestly believe this chain will hold up well. When I go to the gym, I go to work out and I really work out! Sweat and poorly made chains do not go well together. Your neck breaks out in a rash, burns like fire and, eventually, the chain turns green. I haven't had this chain long enough to experience any problems with it, but I do put it to the test. I haven't taken it off since I bought and I even sleep in it and the clasp stays at the back of my neck instead of twisting around and getting caught up in the pendant. All in all, I'm impressed. The only problem I have had is there is no place on their website to register your warranty that I can find. Other than that, I still think the chain was a bargain. If anything changes, I'll let you know.

There is a lifetime guarantee on these products. When the chain we had purchased broke, it was very easy to get a replacement for it. Then a couple of years later, the chain broke again. I wasn't sure if the guarantee would still apply, but I reported the damage. Again, it was easily replaced. I have been extremely pleased with the correspondence I have had with this company and highly recommend them.

This necklace is truly beautiful. And it seems sturdy. And the 14K gold pendant I always wear looks lovely on it. But most unfortunately, it commits that most heinous chain crime -- it pulls out my hair at the back of my neck. I bought this to replace "THE ICE EMPIRE JEWELRY, LCC18k Gold Plated 2mm Italian Rope Chain Necklace" which I've purchased twice, worn constantly, and broken twice, and I chose this one because the review made it seem like the gold overlay would last longer. But alas, I've put this one away and gone and repurchased the other one AGAIN, because though the "gold" faded on it, it never pulled out my hair.Update, three weeks later: Subsequent to the above review, the seller contacted me and offered to exchange the chain. The new one looked identical to the first (as in very beautiful), but this one DID NOT pull out my hair. So I guess it depends on the individual chain, but I am now happy with both the chain and the excellent service I received.
