Awesome book with extensive valuable information. Love it!!

As a self taught painter, this book is incredibly helpful and one of the best technical books on painting that I have seen. He was a fantastic artist and has so much knowledge to share. It is also written in a way that makes it very enjoyable to read. His writing style is very natural, he also has a great sense of humor. I love the detailed color charts, I have referenced them so many times already. I highly recommend this book!

The concepts in this books are well written. I am sure you will never find any other book in the market like this one. If there's one book you can trust in your journey as a painter, this on will do just fine.

This is the best and most complete written painting instruction I have ever seen. It has greatly expanded my technical painting abilities.

This is an excellent book. I also own the original Alla Prima by Richard Schmid which I have always enjoyed; but, this new book Alla Prima II does have a great deal of additional information that I am finding quite valuable. The shipping speed exceeded my expectations. I am thrilled with this purchase.

This was a birthday gift for my wife who is a plein air painter. She is thrilled with the book and the incredible talent of Richard Schmidt!
