Is there a height adjustment on the rails or sled to accomodate different thicknesses of wood slab?

to adjust the height, shim the slab or shim the rails. Both work equally well.

Why is this $100 more than buying it from the manufacturer if it ships from and is sold by the manufacturer?

Can I purchase the hold down dogs separately?

Honestly I don’t know, I haven’t found anything like that. Would of been cheaper.
