A little heavy duty would have preferred a slightly lighter weight

It was my first time Making my own pinch pleats and they turned out really well! The hardest part was measuring the width and determining where to start so they all end up in the same place. I looked it up and found how to measure it out. This stuff is wonderful and the sewing machine goes through it like butter. It’s very very very easy to use - I recommend it!

This fabric is thick and sturdy. That makes it a little diff UTI work with (be prepared), but that’s what makes the pleats look nice. I used 4-leg pleat pins and then skipped to pin pockets between each pleat. My sister, who once sold draperies, said they looked nice, looked like some designer drapes she sold before—of course, the fabric choice helped too.

Yes it’s stiff and requires some effort to place the pins but it gives a nice firm look to the pleats. I was happy with the purchase.

If you are a beginner with a searing machine, these are great to buy and see on, creating expensive curtains for the fraction of the cost. Fast and easy to work with.

I made drapes for my bedroom and wanted triple pleats. This tape made the process easy. It takes time to actually thread the hooks, but well worth it.
