Comfortable, easy to adjust and blocks the noise
These are great for going to the firing range or just going to bed to drown out the early puppy barking... They were easy to mold to my ear and you can use them more than once if you place them in a sealed container. Worth the money! They have increased my sleep quality!

So comfortable and easy to use
These work great and are comfortable for sleeping. My adult son, however, didn't realize that you have to remove the cotton coating and massage the earplug to make it pliable, so be sure and do that - they are not comfortable otherwise, haha!

great for small ear canals, safe for eczema/contact dermatitis
i have annoyingly tiny ear canals as well as chronic eczema in my ears. i have tried DOZENS of ear plugs, and while I've found many that come in small enough sizes to fit in my ear canals, these are the ONLY ones that don't give me contact dermatitis. they are very comfortable to wear and leave my ear canals feeling comfortable even after wear due to a faint moisturizing residue they leave behind which is very soothing. despite these not going deep into the ear canal the sound reduction is still quite good.they may leave oil spots on your pillowcase but these wash out with no trouble at all. if you can't get the oil spots out, your laundry routine is lacking.if you need ear plugs to work or sleep and have tiny ears or skin problems, these are the ultimate solution. if you have large ear canals or very oily skin, these may not be for you.

Sticky, greasy, messy--you need to wash your hands after inserting them or taking them out.
I have been using earplugs for 40 years. As many others that have used ear plugs for years, we use the old Flents wax earplugs to compare other to other brands. Ohropax is a very very bad imitation for one huge reason. They are absolutely gross to the touch. The are sticky and wet and there is no way to handle them without having to either wash your hands with soap and water or "settle" for wiping them off with a tissue if you are already in bed and too tired to get up and wash your hands. So what they block noise. Many brands do that. I prefer Quies brand because they are much dryer. They are a bit hard to form in your hands in preparation to put into your ear canal, but if you put them in the pocket of your pajama top for a while they will be warm from your body heat and be much easier to form. They do tend to dry out my ears a bit but I'd rather have that any day to the having to clean off my hands every time I put earplugs into my ears. That includes when you have to take them out for just a second for some reason and then put them back in.Had trouble returning until I contacted Amazon. Sellers were not helpful with the return at all.

Work great
These are the only ear plugs that work for me. Once they warm up a bit, they easily mold to my ears and provide an end to nighttime noise.

Better than Foam Plugs
My wife snores. LOUDLY. I have tried a variety of earplugs to silence the tumult. (My wife is not a large person. I do not know how she manages to emit a noise equivalent to a Metallica concert.) The challenge with earplugs is comfort level if you are a side sleeper. I found these wax earplugs to be more comfortable than foam. They are reusable. I usually throw them away every two weeks or so. However you could probably extend the use beyond that time if you are particularly frugal. The noise dampening is good but not great. I usually also put a pillow over my head for further sound isolation.

Best plugs I've tried.
I have tinnitus and wear both ear plugs and muffs. The foam plugs come loose, don't seal, and fall out on occasion. These wax plugs were recommended by my Dr. and are far superior as far as comfort, noise cancellation and staying put. These are my go to ear plugs from now on.

COTTON IS FOR PACKAGING ONLY!!! Amazing noise reduction. ENT guarantees they will not hurt ears even if worn every night.
These ear plugs are amazing!!! I travel internationally quite a bit and Ohropax block out noise so well that I sleep even if the rest of the plane is partying. They do leave a bit of a waxy feeling in your ears after use but I talked to my ENT (ears, nose, throat doc) and he assured me that I can wear them every single night without worrying that anything is going to build up or hurt my ears in any way. Just use a bit of tissue to gently wipe your ears after use. To use, I generally roll them between my fingers for a couple of minutes to soften them up and then I actually flatten them somewhat before pressing them into my ear. There is no need to shape them into a cone or try to put them into the ear canal. In fact it's better if you don't try that. Once they've been in my ears for a few minutes, they soften up even more and I'm able to press them firmly around the edges to seal out most noise. I like the quiet so much that I wear them to bed nearly every single night and sleep better than I ever have. If my fire alarm ever goes off, I'm gonna be in trouble! Oh - and the cotton is for packing purposes only - remove it but save it to store your ear plugs after use. Hint: After removal, let ear plugs cool down before wrapping them back up in the cotton or you'll have to deal with picking the cotton out of them later. Not fun. I've tried a lot of different ear plugs and these are the best available for worry-free noise reduction.
