Lasts for years
I bought this model years ago after my old MacBook Pro's power cord went bad. This replacement worked great for years until one of the metal prongs got loose and folded individually. I'm now on my second one and this will get me through more years of powering my laptop.

Backup/travel charger for macbook
I wanted a duplicate so I wouldn’t constantly have to unplug my main charger, since it’s hard to get to. Definitely worth it, also worth it since I can charge any USB-C device with this. Charges fast.Cons- it takes up a lot of vertical space on the outlet. You can’t have anything plugged in charging below it because it covers any outlet below plus some more. also depending on the shape of the plug you want also plugged in, it might not fit in the outlet space above it. Also it’s quite loose in the outlet, and for it being so heavy, it can straight up fall out of outlets that aren’t tight.Cable is very long, sometimes feels too long haha.

WRONG ADAPTER!
Within the description it said it was for my Mac book pro but surprise it wasn't. I had to leave for South Carolina on a family emergency and I never opened it until I got home.By then the return window had closed and I was out my money. Well that's censored!So I have an adapter for nothing. I will review it.It doesn't work. it's crap, it doesn't fit! it's useless, it's an apple paperweight. I wouldn't buy this. Description doesn't match, no photo of the product so you can see what you're buying and with so many different ones it is very confusing. So thanks for nothing. Merry Christmas.

It's Great but be careful with what device you're charging
I like to have a power adapter for my mac always ready to go in my office backpack and a second one in my room, so I'm not having to constantly pull out or put away cables. This adapter is great but I made the (stupid) move of trying to charge a small portable vape. The adapter was giving out too much power that the vape couldn't handle and I ended up burning up the cable. The adapter was fine, thankfully. So now I bought a USB C cable with a LCD meter that regulates the charge. So I can use this to charge everything from macbooks, power banks, iPhones to small devices, because the cable will control how much power goes through the cable. I can charge my iPhone in an obscenely short amount of time with this adapter. I love it!
