I had The turquoise colored pen in my pocketbook while I was in a bible study group. We had to write our name on a piece of paper and place it in a bowl. My friend was sitting next to me and she didn’t have anything to write with so I loaned her mine. This was brand new and the first time I had used it. As she returned it to me she commented that her mother had written with a similar pen and color and it reminded her of her mother. I told her she could keep it. It made me happy also. A few minutes later we drew a name out of the bowl and I drew her name written in that Blue turquoise ink. We were to pray for that person every day this week.Love, love, love these pens. Have been writing, journaling, and I used them when I worked in an office also. They glide over your papers so smoothly. Now I just need to buy me another turquoise pen. Can’t go wrong with these lovely pens and hope they make you happy too.

My all-time favorite pens! Love buying them in bulk so I always have them on hand and in every bag. If you love a nice quality pen that doesn't bleed and functions smoothly, this is a great option. I'm picky about my pens and this has been a favorite for years. Great value for your money!

These pens are awesome, worthy of many superlatives, and have been my go-to pen for years. I absolutely love them and have been going out of my way to stock my life with them, even when a good variety of free pens have been plentiful, for at least a decade. These pens eat ballpoints and gel pens for breakfast. The tip generates a smooth, bold (fine yet not scratchy or anemic), extremely consistent, solid line of liquid ink that makes everything (handwriting, underlining, simple drawings) look better. However--and this is a big deal for me--the ink dries VERY quickly. A stroke made with this pen on regular paper will not smear, even if you run your finger across it immediately afterwards. Find me another liquid ink pen that can do that and I will be very impressed, because I've never come across any others like it. If you are left-handed or if, for whatever reason, you tend to drag your hand over recently penned text, you will not have to suffer smearage with this pen.The big caveat: if you are a hard-presser, this pen is not for you. The porous tip is robust and will easily last the long duration of the pen's lifetime (there is a lot of ink in these guys!) under normal pressure, but one use by someone who really takes out their aggression and bears down on pen tips will leave this tip sadly bent and likely ruined. Use often, lend judiciously.

I've searched all the Office Max's, Office Depots, and Staples in my area, but I wasn't able to find these pens- I'm so glad that they're on Amazon! They're worth the search, like other buyers have mentioned. These Pilot Razor V pens write incredibly smoothly, and I feel they improve my handwriting- I always use them to write in greeting cards because of this. And what I enjoy the most is that the ink is long lasting, unlike other felt tip pens- a pack of 12 will go a long way.Though be forewarned- these are not airplane safe (I have tried taking them on the plane, and as soon as the tip would touch the customs form it would form huge blotches of ink.) Pilot does have a lot of other great rollerballs that are certified airplane safe, so keep a look out for the logo on the packaging. Also, I wouldn't recommend this pen for those who are heavy handed/press hard on paper, because the tip is too delicate for that. Otherwise, it's a faultless pen.I gave this pen 5 stars because it's just that great- though the shipping and handling of the box was pretty poor and left much to be desired. I do realize that this seller offered free shipping- but the box of pens was shipped as is, with no protection whatsoever (not even a USPS envelope, which are usually free from my experience?). What really grinded my gears was that there was a random piece of trash in the box as well (it looked like the shipping label backing was stuffed in the box.) Not what I expected from an Amazon seller.

I picked one of these pens up initially by accident (a student left it behind in the library I was working in and it found its way into the stray pen bin). I'm very picky about my pens (I have hand issues so the less drag when writing the better). I used it for several weeks and liked it so much I looked into buying a package of them for myself.The pens in that package lasted at least three years (I started running out of my favorite colors so I went to reorder, and was surprised it had been so long). The colors are nice and bright and they write smoothly for years without drying out or anything. They also don't need to be "broken in" (which my old favorites did), they just write nice and smooth right out of the package.If they ever stop making them I don't know what I'd do because after years of using pens that were "fine, I guess" I don't think I could go back.The only downsides I'd say is that the little plastic clip *can* break if you're not careful (but it's rare, the cap's pretty sturdy), and that I never tend to use the pink or brown ones (I just don't like those colors). But other than that, they're great.

I'd gotten a set of these in a local store a while ago, but they don't carry them anymore. I wanted to have a second set to use on a different floor (kitchen area) so it was great to find these available on Amazon. We use them to color code labels on various freezer containers.
