Good Guitar for beginner and intermediate players
as someone that has several guitars and has personally finished guitar kits, i can say this guitar is well made and sounds good. it came with a nice hard shell case that on most guitars youd probably pay 200 dollars alone for. The guitar is thin which is good for people that arent used to big bodied guitars, or any guitars .. the electronics sound good as well. The only thing i can complain about is that yes there are a few little finish imperfections, however i mentioned i have finished guitars and i personally know how hard it is to have a perfect finish, most guitars will have some kind of flaw to the finish. One more thing to mention is that the fret width on the first few frets is pretty small, which from what i have read is something that fender has done to make their classicals more player friendly. (since they tend to be bulkier)...This is something that i would probably change because it does make the guitar feel like it isn't to scale... which it is. Overall i recommend to ignore the bad reviews because either they dont know what they are talking about or they had a one off problem that likely didnt come from the manufacturer.

Beautiful & Playable
A few years back, I bought a nylon string acoustic-electric with a narrow nut width and a thin body. I wasn't able to ship it back to the states, so I sold it and regretted it ever since. After some hunting, I found this and received it today. While it still maintains some of the classical guitar feel -- flat fingerboard, short heel, harsh tuners -- the pros of this guitar are undeniable. The tones are rich and full, rather than tinny and weak as the thin body might suggest. The neck is narrow enough to play like a steel string, but the string spacing still allows for fingerstyle. It's also beautiful. Fender always kills it in the aesthetics dept. Plus it comes with a molded hardshell case which is worth $100 alone.I haven't plugged it in yet so I don't know about the electronics. As I've never encountered a problem with Fishman, I'm assuming they'll work fine. Overall I'm satisfied with this purchase and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a more shreddable nylon string.

leaves something to be desired
Good - Beautiful figuring on the back of the wood. Very nice hard case included. tuning machines seem decent.less than spectacular - Obvious imperfections on soundboard, the body is thinner than normal and I dont recall this described in the listing, Very coarse scratches (like 40 to 60 grit) On the corners of the upper front board above the 12th fret. Very thick finish coating all around With drip marks in the routed areas of the headstock.overall - I definitely would have expected a better final product for it being a name brand guitar and for the price I paid. If this instrument were in a brick and mortar music shop it would be on a scratch and dent 70% off rack if it had not been sent back to the manufacturer. I was going to request a replacement, but decided to just return it instead and get an alternative

Incredible instrument
Definitely had to go through and set up this guitar like most that are not sold from a music store. After completing a full set up, the intonation is absolutely perfect! The action is as light as you can get without fret buzz unbecoming of a classical guitar meaning, most classical guitars with low action will buzz a little for that aggressive flamenco classical sound. The case is wonderful, padded, and comes with a lock. Very standard case quality without upgrading with a custom purchase. Love this guitar and it had completed my FENDER Family!!

Easy to play
I purchased this because of the nylon strings. The other features includes 1) a built in tuner and 2) A remarkable case. It is also electric and has a very solid tone.

Fender nylon string guitar
The fretwork was appalling. Rough fret ends that make it difficult to move around on the neck. The intonation is off and the tuners failed within the first day of use. Based on what I’m seeing here this instrument is only worth $250.00 and not $400 plus

Great guitar.
This was a good buy on a great guitar. I’m a pro musician and I think Fender knocked one out of the ball park on this one. I only play classical nylon string guitars when needed so this is not my main instrument but I love it. The pickup is clean and clear and works well with all my other sound gear. It comes with a nice case. I had mine professionally setup by my guitar tech and it plays nicely, intonation is spot on.
