Ah the secret is in the order of the poles ...after a bit of head scratching we figured it out. The little paper isn't quite clear.Put the white banded end near the wall then the rest. End caps are easy enough - one end of pole assembly is large one is small (and the caps were cupped together when shipped) I'm not sure about very weighty curtains on our 141 inch span. We're using outdoors on lanai with semisheers. The wall texture is rough so I don't expect it to slide. But the pole is reasonably thick & looks good

The rod is only few I saw available on Amazon that has long length I was looking for it works good and holds tight but it does sag a bit in the middle because of how long I extended it

Very secure and holds us my 12 foot green screen backdrop without any issue. I love that I can just slide over the green screen or remove the whole setup when not needed.

Easy Peasy! Thanks to other reviews we figured out the assembly order! 144” and one more set of curtains to add! Love this look. I’ll add sim weights at the bottom.
