YupikBeans, Dry Roasted & Unsalted Edamame, 2.2 lb(Pack of 1)

Ok, ok, I admit it; I'm a snack-a-holic . Especially on the weekends. I love to snack on ANYTHING while watching sporting events. You name it - I'll snack on it: Chips, Doritos, pop corn, sugar frosted flakes from the box, etc, etc, I seem to need to chew on something first with flavor being second. I know snacking isn't healthy but self control doesn't appear to be an option for me. Even fat free pretzels aren't good for you as they have tons of carbohydrates. So, I resorted to Edamame but, while being better than my usual snacks, they also aren't that healthy as they are loaded with salt and artificial flavoring. These YuPik dry roasted, unsalted soy beans are just what I'm looking for --> low on salt and artificial flavoring, crunchy with some taste. Just 140 calories per 1/4 cup of beans and that is a lot of beans. With my trusty 18oz mug filled with water, I eat ONE bean and then take a sip of water. I don't gain weight or drive my sugar sky high. These roasted soybeans come lose in a bag. To help my weak self-control I put 1/4 cup of soybeans in a small sandwich bag and keep it in the big bag. That allows me to bring the smaller sandwich bag to my chair rather than bringing the big bag. All that works for me and I can tell that I'm going in the right direction as I can snack and my blood sugar count doesn't go sky high AND I'M LOSING WEIGHT ! !If you are in the same boat as me then I recommend that you try these roasted soy beans as your go-to snacks along with a mug of water (that's spelled w-a-t-e-r not b-e-e-r ) You can also feel good as these YuPik roasted soy beans are very inexpensive.

So, I ordered these after my grandson told me about them. I had never ever tasted them let alone eat them. I ordered a bag based on his word that I would love them as much as he does. Well, they need some salt just a little so i poured them out on my dehydrator trays spritzed with olive oil and sparingly sprinkled with salt. They were crunchy and the little bit of salt did the trick I love them. Now, for my new problem....I eat to many of them and then my belly goes crazy and i have gas......so, I have resorted to measuring out 1/4 cup and putting them in a bowl for when I want to snack I now reach for these instead of chips. So hopefully my weight will head in the right direction and I will see a difference.

I thought that the lack of salt would turn me off of them but they’re completely fine plain. I need extra protein in my diet and these make for the perfect healthy snack. Great value, very fresh and a quality product

Very good topping off salads and sometimes good just to eat raw, they have little seasoning and flavor but have an excellent crunch.

Received multiple packages in great condition prior to this one but just one shipment like this, sows doubt of good quality product. How did an edible product pass quality control in this manner? I’m guessing packaged by Amazon? Bad bad bad! Not buying anymore. Otherwise excellent taste and texture for those who would like to give it a try.

These are a great way to help eat healthy. I like to eat these for lunch at work with either flavored almonds or flavored pistachios. It's a great way to mix things up and keep the tastes good.
