Perfect remote control for my TV!
This remote control is replacement of my original remote control. It’s not a universal remote control. So, fortunately there’s no need to set up to use it. Exactly the same as my original TV remote control (except two buttons Hulu & PlayStation buttons are replaced with HBO now & Showtime, but I never used those buttons). Works great. Just perfect. I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

Works just like the original
Lost the one that came with the streaming stick, paired up as soon as everything was powered up. No issues. Works perfectly.

Doesn't work and NO support!
I bought this rechargeable ROKU remote last summer. It has always been a bit temperamental and would fail or respond very slowly at times. It's latest trick is it won't work without plugging in the charging cord. even though it reports a 96, 97 or 100% charge it is dead until I plug it in, then is works as well as it ever does. (today the volume won't work.)I've had problems with rechargeable batteries in the past where-in they would report a full charge and the voltage would read the proper level, but there was no amperage. That's what this acts like.I put up with this device way too long. Today I tried to contact the supplier and after letting a phone robot lead me all over creation it finally told me to contact the manufacturer for support. Of course there's no mention of who the manufacturer is, or how to contact them, and no real person available to talk to for assistance. So basically a waste of time.I strongly recommend you stay away from this supplier. Cheap product and no support.

A Roku remote, but MUCH better design and build!
If you are anything like me, you love your Roku TV. I have three of them in fact, and wouldn't want any other format. The only downside to them at all, is the remote control. I don't know who the hell thought a round bottom remote was a good idea, because it isn't. Also, the volume/mute buttons on the side of the remote are the first ones you press by accident when picking up the remote, so there's that. Enter the Anderic remote. It has a flat bottom, no more remote rocking on the table for five minutes after you use it. I also has the volume button worked into the face of the remote. A very nice touch, and lastly, the battery cover will not slip off when you use the remote, as it has a sturdy clip, AND, the option of screwing the cover on in case the clip breaks. Essentially, this fixes everything wrong with the stock remote, and improves greatly on it.I HIGHLY recommend this remote if you have a gripe with any of the reasons I have mentioned. Two thumbs up for Anderic. Job nicely done!

Not the best replacement remote
I purchased 2 of these remotes, as I have 2 TCL Roku TVs. As like many others, I cannot stand the volume buttons on the side of the TCL Roku TV remote. It has to be the absolute worst idea when it comes to remotes. I decided on this remote strictly for the volume buttons on the face, where they're supposed to be. The remote does work exactly as it should right out of the box, just throw some batteries in it and go. The problem is the loud, clicky buttons. Remotes have come a long way since first being introduced, including nice soft, quiet response buttons that don't sound like you're training a dog with one of those clicker things. But for reasons uncertain, this company has regressed to these ancient type buttons that sound like an old car turn signal when you're scrolling through the channels. The type of buttons that you know will eventually wear out much sooner than later. To go with that annoyance, the directional buttons (up, down, left, right) feel loose, or "floaty". Like the actual button trigger is in the middle of the longer bar of the button, so if you press on the end of the button, you feel the button sort of bend because it's a softer type rubber. It's just a very uneasy feeling, nowhere near as solid as the original remote. The ergonomic feel of this remote is much better than the original though, as it's slightly bigger and not rounded, which was another horrible idea by Roku. So it's really not a BAD remote, it could just use some improvements. And for finally not having the volume buttons on the side of the remote, I think the less than $7 each spent on each of these is justifiable in keeping them and getting used to their flaws, and cheap enough to probably buy again when they eventually wear out.
