The Ultimate Cannoli Recipe Book: Delicious Cannoli + Filling Recipes to Try at Home! Paperback – August 31, 2019

I have made Cannoli for over 50 years and have my own treasured family recipe. However, these are awesome with clear, well written directions. I also have some new ideas for future baking.

Recipes did not seem complete

The very first recipe for cannoli dough is absolute garbage. WAY too much flour. If they can't get cannoli dough right, why should you bother buying this book. Also, the pictures all look cheap and are black and white. Not a huge deal but just seems cheap, especially when the pictures aren't of what you're making

I glanced through this cookbook after a free download from KU. There are two basic shell recipes with limited instructions and a lot of ideas for fillings. The photos included have nothing whatsoever to do with what you are making. One of the recipes called for 71 teaspoons of cocoa. Another called for 375 icing sugar. It didn’t specify what measuring utensil to use, but if it’s teaspoons again, you must be insane to stand in your kitchen and try to count them all into your bowl. No thanks.

Not much there, found way better recipes online, don't waste your money

Page 31 says 871tsp of sugar. I’m guessing that’s a typo but can’t find any contact info for the author to inquire... followed instructions exactly and the filling was totally watery. Not sure if the cream needed to be whipped but instructions didn’t say. Have to say I’m really disappointed in this one.

I received, browsed, read, and returned all within 2 hours of receiving the book. The cover is a beautiful colored array of cannolis. The text is black and white text. The recipes are cryptic. As a pastry chef, I would not recommend purchasing as a reference or "to-follow" cookbook.
