PrellShampoo Original, 13.5 Oz

To be totally honest I'd totally forgotten about this shampoo that I used as a child. When I noticed it was still being made I decided to give it a try. Its been many, many, many years since I've used Prell and had concerned about using it with now permed hair. No problem at all. Left my hair shiny clean and didn't cause problems with the perm. The price is very right and I got great results!

Timeless classic with original scent. If you need to control oiliness of hair or want to remove buildup, this is a worthy go to. The value for the money can’t be beat. It will definitely give limp hair more volume. The quality is what I remember from when they used to put a plastic pearl in the bottle. Personally, I always use conditioner after unless you’re looking for a squeaky clean.

When I review a product the price is important to me so I'm going to mention that this costs 3.56 in June 2025. I absolutely love the smell, it's strong and very floral. To me it is just so bright and clean. It cleans my type 1C hair very well and doesn't leave any residue. It gives some nice volume. For the price and function, it's absolutely a thumbs up.

I've been using Prell since I was a teen. It's hard to find except, occasionally, at Walmart. So nice to know I can order it easily on Amazon!

This classic is great to use as a clarifying shampoo. It's also good in the summer if you live in really humid climate. It works well on my fine hair. I like the smell. 4 starts because it's not an everyday shampoo.

I feel this shampoo is thicker than most. So I don’t have to use as much to get it to lather. I like the way it makes my hair feel.
