Bought this for a trip to Dubai/Oman and fell in love with it! It is a good quality scarf, soft and flexible, nearly opaque, breathable, warm when it needs to be but won't make you melt. It worked great as a head scarf to visit mosques or for sleeping on the plane, shawl/body wrap on cool windy nights, and camera protection from sand when I was in the desert. It is not bulky when you wear it or pack it, but I can nearly fit my whole body in it if I am cold. I adore it!

Bought for a funeral that wanted us to wear purple. Very soft and lightweight. Tried to show how thin in pic ( can see letter on my hoodie through the scarf with it laid flat but not when bunched together). Worked well, great accent for outfit.

I have a mild obsession with infinity scarves. I also live in the South and never had a need for anything heavy or bulky. This scarf is perfect on every level. The fabric feels amazing. It feels like a super-soft t-shirt. It is light-weight and exceptionally comfortable. The length allows you to wear it multiple ways. I ordered the grey and the ivory and love them both. It does look like a big square when you remove it from the packaging. So, don't be alarmed. I also don't understand the discussion about the lack of hem and fear of fraying. There is nothing cheap look about the scarf. These scarves are beautiful and a great deal. Buy two for you and one for a friend :)
