Nice raised beds
These are great! Easy to assemble and very sturdy! I bought two of the largest version, but still have to add the additional end sections. Each 2x4 section holds 8 cubic feet of garden soil; 1 cubic foot of composted manure; 1 cubic foot of hardwood mulch. The 4x4 section holds double that amount. I used a total of 48 bags of 2 cubic feet of garden soil for the set up in the photos. In the Q&A, there were different answers regarding the capacity. I like these so well that I plan to purchase two more large sets in the Spring. The only downside was filling them, which was very time consuming, hard work. They're worth it!

Gorgeous easy to assemble
The only thing I didn’t like is the way some of the side boards are warping. Hopefully when we get the dirt in them they will even out. We love the look and are excited for years of growing vegetables!

Raised flower box
It took me a while to finally pull the plug on this and I’m glad I finally did! Great quality! Very easy set up. The only thing is some boards were warped. Which you can barley tell now that it is filled with dirt. The Cedar is the way to go. Looks great!

So easy to assemble!
Our family purchased some acreage in the country and want to plant gardens for the natural bees. This is our first one. After my wife said this is what she wanted I read the reviews and decided it was worth a go. It was here in 3 days and me and my bro-inlaw had it together in an hour and half. I had purchased a pond liner 10 x 13 to put it on. My next step is to put some rocks in the bottom and cover it with landscaping weed preventer and then fill with dirt. I read reviews about using 54 bags of dirt to fill it, hopefully the rocks will keep the water from standing and roots from staying tooWet. I used a rubber mallet as the reviews said also. There are no instructions on assembly and really you just make it like you need it. So many ways to make a garden! Yes I will be purchasing more of these as spring comes around! Great produce!

Quality, easy to put together
It was hard to find cedar in the amounts we needed to build our own garden boxes so we looked into pre-fabricated ones like this. Turns out after buying all the boards from the lumbar yard and materials it was about the same price. We ordered the 8'x12'x16.5" size garden. Three boxes showed up but one box said "4 of 4" so we knew we should have gotten four boxes. We emailed Greenes through Amazon and after looking into the issue they determined that FedEx messed up the address on one of the boxes so they sent the box we needed right away. Living in Michigan we get a lot of rain and since it is untreated wood, I ended up painting the boards with a transparent waterproofing stain to extend the life. What I like about the boxes is that they are so versatile. We ended up changing the configuration so that we had (2) 4'x4' boxes and (5) 2'x4' boxes. I wanted larger boxes for larger plants like zucchini. Overall we are very happy with our purchase.

Lovely raised bed, but takes a lot to fill it up!
This is a really nice raised bed. I read from other comments that you can rearrange the shape of this, which was great to know. So, I changed mine by a lot. We ended up getting six extra 4’ cedar boards because of how much I changed the design. It does take a lot of soil too. Mine has a 4x4 bed in the middle with a 2x4 bed on each side , then two 2x4 beds on the ends of those. So, instead of it looking like a big huge letter U, it kind of looks like a huge letter M. I used 1x1 pavers around the outer edges so it would be easier to mow around and it turned out great.

try galvanized steel
used for a season and by the time that was done, it was bowed out and basically not worth the money spent. Go with a better, more durable wood if this is the route your planning.

Works as advertised
I bought several of these and they show up quickly. Durable? Yes. Height? Perfect. Cost? a bit scary. I could make them or could use other block and lumber combinations but, these are visible and because they are Cedar, I expect durable. You can move them too if you are willing to move the dirt too. Very pretty and age well. I'm happy to have them and they set up easily and you can make some cool combinations. My 4-star value is probably 3.5 (I try to be thriftier) but was wanting to get off the ground quickly. It worked I am back to gardening after 10 years off.
