Q: How do you suggest cleaning the dust off of the leaves/grass?

A damp cloth and gently rub the grass

Q: How often to you have to trim these plants? I bought the Benn Grass.

This plant is artificial and does not require trimming.

Q: how many plants does it come with?

One plant only. I purchased two separately.

Q: Can this be taken out and put into a different pot?

Yes!!! In fact I did the same thing. The only issue is the the plant is glued into a Styrofoam piece that is in the bottom of the pot. You can take it out but you may have to break the Styrofoam piece. Mine broke but I was able to put in another pot and you cannot tell that the base is broken at all.
