Pc of garbage
This item is a great design but REALLY made poorly.I cannot use the knee scooter and thought I'd try this. After setting product on my, walker, the product looks like it's made with backpack material, I set my knee on the product knee pad for the first time. The strap came completely off! The thing was sewn so badly that the thread came out!I tried resewing and reinforcing all the straps, I was not taking a chance of this sucker coming undone using it after my foot surgery.Just had foot surgery, and I'm trying to use this thing, and although it is holding up, too some degree, I'm still sending it back. It's definitely NOT worth $60!I'm ordering a different setup all together. So frustrating!

Confusing to assemble
I bought this sling when i had a foot operation. It was very confusing to assemble as the package did not come with instructions. I used the photo here on Amazon to help me figure it out. So if you decide to buy one, make sure you come bk to the product page or download the photo so that you can have a visual reference when putting it on your walker. I tried without doing that and had it on totally wrong. Nearly fell backwards on the floor. Once i got it on correctly, it worked great! Very stable and comfortable. Highly recommend!

No instructions, complacted to put together. Swings all over not stable.
No instructions only a picture. Does not stay in place . Does not work well on all walkers. I did not feel safe with it. Lots of straps to use with no instructions of where they go. No Good.

Product is of poor quality
I received this product only to find the instructions were not sufficient. After much effort I was finally able to get the sling attached and adjusted to sit evenly. Fortunately I tested it to see how stable it was before I passed it to the patient for use. One of the straps detached. Had this been the patient this could have thrown her off balance and the potential fall would have ended in severe injuries and potential issues with the foot healing post surgery. Needless to say, it is going back!

It's universal fitting system works perfect!
I cannot put any weight on my ankle for 3 months. Now I can simply walk upright with my knee on the walker. Better than my scooter. More normal control and movement. I added a soft piece of material to protect my skin from rubbing on the canvas fabric. This is my second operation. Wish I had it last time! Just wrap the straps on the knee pad to the front horizontal and vertical bars to keep it from moving forward and back as you walk. Love it!

Great concept, but be careful. It needs work.
I bought this despite many cautions about its quality. I figured I could use it as a guide to make a better one if needed. I haven't been able to adjust it to my height, and I'd only gone about 3 feet when a strap popped out of the buckle. I was using it cautiously so came to no harm, but could have been injured. Great concept, but needs work.

Strap ripped off testing before first use
I bought this as it was the only one that I initially found at Amazon and my mother really needed this to be able to move around with a walker while her lower right leg was healing after multiple surgeries. The instructions only and barely show how to strap on for left leg use, when used in combination with the picture from Amazon, it can be installed onto a walker. Using the picture from the instructions upside down and the thinking of the picture from Amazon reversed, was able to install for right leg use. My wife and son helped me to test this out and when I tried it a second time it, one of the 2 high mounted straps(#3 and #6) the #6 slipped down causing strap #5 to tear off from the bottom. When this happened, it slipped down a few inches and the remaining 5 straps held for that moment. When I showed this installed on a walker to my mom, she said she wouldn't use it as it's the same as the physical rehab place ordered and she recently had experience of this not holding her leg to the walker as well as the one she tried in the hospital. She also experienced this strap-on one slipping, too. Mind you, I bought this after a well-stocked physical rehab store employee, who knew what a knee sling was and knew they didn't carry one recommend to get one from Amazon, probably what the rehab place did as well. There is a 60% warning line in the instructions that is not on the product(since it gets reversed for right knee use) and if you place your knee past 60% of the pad, you can and will flip forward. I am returning this one.Amazon does carry the "good/excellent" version of a knee sling, it can be searched with " Sammons Preston - 19831 The Kneeler". This looks like my mom's description of what she tried in the hospital. Since it was expensive, I purchased a used one from a different vendor for a slightly lower price, but would not have hesitated getting the Sammons Preston from Amazon, since a knee sling needs to be solid to be safe and useful. It also has a solid metal U-shaped hook that hangs from one side of the walker, and no straps getting in the way of opposite leg movement.
