HP changed the voltage reference from 10V to 14V and that made the selection difficult as it had been a while since I replaced the battery in my wife's lap top. The Vinpera battery fits perfectly just like an OEM. My wife's computer is running very well. There are many choices to select from and so far, for me, this was the best choice.

So, the battery came and worked perfectly....for the first few times I used the computer. We didn't need the laptop during the summer, but when we started it back up for the new school year, the battery is already completely dead. (Edited: after I wrote the review, the company contacted me right away. They sent me a new battery very quickly for free. Excellent customer service!)

I have never changed a laptop battery before so was reluctant to order. I could nothing with my computer without being plugged in so for the price I thought it was worth a try and ordered. Very glad I did. Opened the package, flipped the locking mechanism on the laptop, pulled the old one out and slid the new one in. Perfect fit and partially charged so I used it immediately. Been using it for a month and a half and not issues.

I was a little skeptical at first because this seems to be a new outfit with very few reviews. Decided to take a chance anyways. Was pleasantly surprised. The item arrived on time. It was partially charged so I was able to use it right away. Had instructions on charging and discharging that were helpful. They even followed up to see if all was well. I would highly recommend them and buy from them again.

Perfect! Even though my laptop claimed my battery was fully charged, it would die a couple of minutes after unplugging---seriously, like less than 3 minutes later. Popped this baby in & it's working perfectly once again, allowing me to use my laptop anywhere, instead of just while it's plugged in at my desk.

I just purchased this battery and February 2020, it’s been less than a year and it will not hold a charge!*Update 9/28/2020Company has sent me a new battery, same thing within a year battery stopped working. Didn’t bother requesting another one.

In September, 2019, I purchased this battery replacement for my HP laptop. The replacement performed to expectations for about 4 months (October to late January or early February 2020). Now, the battery barely holds a 30 minutes to 1 hour charge. I tried to charge the battery while the computer was on and the battery failed to charge. Once I shut off the computer, the battery fully charged. Time for return/refund was in October, 2019. My overall product rating is a 2 stars for a battery replacement with about a third of a year's performance that eventually fails to properly fully charge. Today or this time, I purchased another battery replacement through the laptop's manufacturer.

I bought this battery in October and now it won't hold a charge for the last two months. I thought it would have at least lasted one year. I will not order again, will buy from manufacturer.
