I run a Geomax Zoom 90 robotic total station and I was looking for a less expensive 360 prism option than the $900 Geomax ZRP1 prisms. I’ve only had this prism for a few days but so far it seems to work fine and size wise is identical to the Geomax prism. It also has the same 23.1 mm offset as the Geomax. It doesn’t have the nice rubber coated case of the Geomax, instead it has a hard metal case. But seeing how it’s less than 1/2 the cost of the name Geomax prism, I will live with it! I also won’t feel so bad if the prism gets dropped and broken. I’ve run some measurement tests with it and it seems to measure within .005’ of the authentic Geomax so survey closures and accuracy should be good.
